The Bible says that to be under the law means to be guilty. Romans 3:19. Under the law does not mean to neglect it. You mentioned that God will lead us to His will. His will is to obey Him

Ok this is what the Bible says about under the law because under the law does not mean as if you have to keep it. It means to be guilty because you broke it.

The Sabbath is about faith because you are not caught up to the worldly, we are not caught up on what WE want to do but we are alleged to God and HIS will. The sabboth is an awesome thing and I am not taking away from its value but keeping it can become a religous act and can withold the Spirit of God working in you to do his will. @estherpasi I do believe in my simple mind that the original sabbath day was Saterday then Constantine declared it Sunday. Our Father has me at a Job were I work all Saterdays. I know im supposed to stay at this Job so is it sin for me to not work on Saterday? No way my Sabbath is when my Father leads. The Jewish Sabboth you can not cook or even write anything down or drive a car. So how is it that even those who say they keep the sabboth really keep it?

Jesus explains to them how when King David entered into the house of God and did eat the Shewbread, which was not Lawful for him to eat, nether for them who were with him, but only for the holy priest. You see, we could not follow the Law if we gave it our best. Or even if we could we would still not make Heaven our home. Because we are all born into sin when Adam fell. Jesus (God in the flesh) has paid the price for us.

I know this is tempting, when MOST of it sounds right, and may be simpler to read. But, the Holy Bible is the one complete instruction manual to follow. @Goldpenny1 Col 2:14 and Eph 2:15 are so often quoted without looking at the immediate and source context. Col 2:14 is a quote from Deu 31:26. That "book of the law" as Moses mentions it, was put beside the Ark, not in the Ark (where the 10 Commandments were). It was that book that's a witness against, not the 10C. Furthermore, only the 10C was covenanted on. All the other laws came after the covenant was ratified by blood, meaning no adding or subtracting after [Gal 3:15]. {pt B}
@Goldpenny1 {Pt B} Eph 2:15 uses a word "dogma" in the original language which is not once used to refer to any law by God, only laws by Man in the Septuagint. This makes more sense considering the immediate context isn't about bringing down the barrier between God and Man, but between Jews and Gentiles.

The Sabbath is about faith because you are not caught up to the worldly, we are not caught up on what WE want to do but we are alleged to God and HIS will. Saying I will pick my own day or that it doesn't matter is to say God doesn't matter because the Sabbath is ALL about God. I know when i go on interviews I always request Sabbaths off.In my family i grew up cooking everything on preparation day so Saturday is left to be enjoyed with God, seeing that I worry about those things every day of the week. That question reminds me of the time the pharisees were accusing Jesus of working on the Sabbath for healing someone.. God knows all, talk to Him about it. people usually add their 2 sense in anyway :)

My friend I don't know if you have studied the connection with the law and Christ. The law is Christ. He lived it out in His life showing us an example.

@Jondadon2006 NLT translation is translated correctly from the greek and it reads Then Jesus said to them, "The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath.
Im not sure how much more clear you need it to be written. Jesus fullfilled the law and said this "The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself" Therefore you have no right to command others to keep the sabbath agian if you want to keep it cool.

If the spirit leads you to have the sabboth then thats awesome but to condemn someone for not having a sabboth is death and religion.

Jesus fulfilled the law but what does that mean because He said He did not come to destroy but fulfill. The word fulfill means to fill full, to make it enhanced, to make it full. It does not mean to do away with.
The spirit of God will not lead anyone to sin my friend. I am just sticking to what the Bible says. Worship God everyday indeed but that's not the point when it comes the the Sabbath

@goldpenny1, Those are good, clear verses. Some churches these days want to add extra-biblical prophecies and other writings to the Bible. I know this is tempting, when MOST of it sounds right, and may be simpler to read. But, the Holy Bible is the one complete instruction manual to follow. False doctrines have always been around, twisting the word of truth and keeping people ignorant of the simplicity of the gospel and of salvation.

The whole New Testament that we deem as part of the Bible was extra-biblical with the early church, which is why they "searched the Scriptures daily to see if it was so" with what the apostles were teaching [Acts 17:11].

@Goldpenny1 Col 2:14 and Eph 2:15 are so often quoted without looking at the immediate and source context. Col 2:14 is a quote from Deu 31:26. That "book of the law" as Moses mentions it, was put beside the Ark, not in the Ark (where the 10 Commandments were). It was that book that's a witness against, not the 10C. Furthermore, only the 10C was covenanted on. All the other laws came after the covenant was ratified by blood, meaning no adding or subtracting after [Gal 3:15]. {pt B}

@Goldpenny1 {Pt B} Eph 2:15 uses a word "dogma" in the original language which is not once used to refer to any law by God, only laws by Man in the Septuagint. This makes more sense considering the immediate context isn't about bringing down the barrier between God and Man, but between Jews and Gentiles.

(from Romans Ch 14) The 'gentiles' are 'grafted into the body of Christ'. We are saved by "grace through faith and not of works, lest any should boast" (as in Mosaic law). Don't worry over Sabbaths unless you are Jewish. For full explaination, read the book of Romans in it's entirety.

We have to make sure we know the difference between justification and sanctification and also the Sabbath was not for the Jews. The BIBLE says Sabbath is for man. Gen 2:2-3

In fact, I'm pretty God-damned sure he'd condemn it. Or, at the least, he'd condemn many aspects of it. I don't think there is a correct understanding on sunday worship.
The point is keeping the Sabbath HOLY. Worship is a everyday thing. How do you keep something holy if your not holy? You need Christ dwelling in you for you to keep it Holy. The point is the Sabbath. It is being replaced by another common day.
It is God saying don't eat the truth and satan saying eat the fruit.

my pastor went slow because we had 6 people with learning disabilities, we had to stall for them (that's ok though)
