Stupid discussion. Obviously GC is an amazing band, and if you don't see that, thabn that's too bad for you. This song's great and who are you to decide if they send the message the right way? Benji said that this song is about his dream girl. And I don't think anyone else can decide how his dream girl should be, right? So stop talking bullshit please. There is no other ''deep'' message in it, it's just a fun song with simple lyrics, stop fighting about it and just enjoy it ;)

My god, what the hell is wrong with you two? Can't you people simply listen to the music if you like it or don't if you don't like it? I happen to like GC. Their decent enough. But one must admit that they are NOT alt. At best, they are Pop Punk. They aren't bad, but don't label them pure alt.
Also, you can find their music on TV. Its in the Alt Music channels. Sort of an odd placement, but whatever.

@TheRi0tGirL Not exactly. They are a branch off Alt music. Much like Green Day or other bands like them. They link to it and draw influence from it, but are not alt. Close though. I might call it "Pop Punk", maybe even close to "Bubblegum Punk", but now in that hyper, overdone territory yet.
I have not heard their music on the radio, and that is because my area (lower NY) is mostly classic rock and rap. No alt of any kind. If they were on an alt station, it would be for "Pop Punk" radio.
