This is the saddest moment in the entire series, and the Japanese version makes me cry my heart out every time! The 4kidz ending was nothing to compare. The music and script is wonderful. I get that 4kidz has to change things for the broadcasting standards, but this scene could have stayed in the english version, I mean come on!

Sometimes, I wish I could just go *poof* into the world of Yuugiou, and see what happened to everyone when the series ended. Just imagine what that must have been like for Yuugi... after helping Atem to save the world a few times... all those duels... to wake up for the first time without the Millennium Puzzle and 'Mou Hitori no Boku', and go back to living a fairly normal life... it must have felt so weird that first day.

Someone of the VA crew(I think Yamis) stated some stupid realese law and by that forbbided Yugioh to be on YT in Japanese. And I who have´t watched Yugioh in a long time. I just love the seriousness in it more and GOD FORESAKE the stupid dialog in the English dub and that effekted the dub in many other countries. Someone know where I could find in japanese?

@jillgepilano It's true that GX took place 10 years after this event,on episode 179,Yugi tells Judai(Jaden) that he has become a reliable adult(and talented duelist) but he has lost something important as well.so by holding Winged Kuriboh(the card that Yugi gave to him 3 years ago) in front of the replica deck, Jaden has travelled back to the past(Yugi's time) and guess what?He's actually duel against Yugi from that time.so of course Atem still exist there.hope this help you understand ;p

The Japanese version has always been more dramatic than the American version. Since I watched an uncut Tagalog translation of this show, I got to hear the script unchanged for the most part. I can't count the number of times I cried. If I watched this on TV with good subs, there is no doubt that I would still cry, even now.

Thank GOD 4Kids finally got their just desserts. This remains to be the most beautiful anime I've ever seen in my entire life. Not to be completely cheesy, but Yuugiou has forever changed my life, gotten me through so many bad times, and continues to give me strength even as I complete my first year of university. Nothing pleases me more than to see those bastards get what was coming to them all along for destroying this fantastic series!
