I have a CD of CIvil War music. Remember Ken Burns documentary on The CIvil War? Its the soundtrack to the documentary. I believe this song is on that CD. The song has sad (minor chords) implications. It shows the sadness and horror of war. By the way this was forwarded to me by Bluegrassforte (Gretsch'n) and now I'm a subscriber!
