My wife was on a jury to decide a case against him when they dropped the charges at the last minute, at least seven years ago. He had a nice ass and gams back then, worthy of respect.
I have known leslie since i moved to ATX in 2000 or so and he prefers to be called leslie not he4/she/it so fuck those comments. and if you do take up the mans time at least donate to his campaign. He is a really nice guy and will forever be an ATX icon. he did make a full recovery. and he is a showman indeed. Every reporter in town knows him 90% of the pd all the bar owners and is well liked.

Sorry to bear bad news but Leslie was seriously hurt in a bicycle accident and is in critical condition in Brakenridge Hospital here in Austin. The prognosis is VERY poor; even if he survives he may be seriously disabled for life.
Leslie has brought a great deal of joy and color to this city and is beloved by thousands. I hope he can pull through this ordeal and come out ok in the end.
@suzbailey23 my friend was walking with him that same night. they were both a bit drunk and my friend decided to keep walking home since leslie was walking slow. the next day he heard about this accident that happened at least a block or two from where they found him. but yes, he's doing good now. last i saw him was like in jan, or feb. but i'm now in san francisco.
