@AEMoreira81 Old News Adam! How do you think I got the shots on the first day of service, please delete your comment, my videos aren't for schedule posting, save that for the forums
I hope that the MTA Regional Bus will also revisit in planning to purchase those Van Hool TD925 Astron Mega Double Decker Express Low Floor Coaches and could they be far behind because they were tested at about the same time that they were testing the Prevost H3-45 Express Commuter Coaches back on 2008.
Nice marshmellow, it really wears the blue stripe like a champ, glad to see prevost getting some serious traffic nowadays, Greyhound was a Huge conquer, now their flying into the public sector coach market, well, I love MCI, and I enjoyed them being on top, but it looks like Prevost may really start to be that bus we see every 5 minutes. Don't know, if NJT goes Prevost, that will just confirm. But I will always love my D-series no matter what.
@mmffl123456 No NJ Transit will be ordering about 73 express buses from none other than DesignLine (the ones who supplied the MTA New York City Bus with those failed turbine powered low floor buses and permanently retired from service and immediately sent back to New Zealand) in which I did not know that they also create express commuter coaches as well. They eschewed MCI's this time and Prevost is not on their considered manufacturers in building the next set of express buses & nor Van Hool.
Yeah, I actually just read about those new Design Lines. Not at all excited to see my beloved bulletproof MCI D's get kicked out for those things, I mean MCI does have Hybrid and CNG D's, so why dabble around with those Designline garbage sacks, let alone MTA just picked up these sexy ass things, the NJT roster may be looking a little lackluster, especialy now that all the speedy Metro D's are gone.
Designline, am I the only one that's not happy about that. I think as far as bus fanning and rail fanning goes, soon enough NJT will not have anything over MTA except for jake brakes on their D's. I am really not a fan of most foreign bus designs, except for VanHool, and maybe Eagles.
@alexcbzs27 It was supposed to be 50 to SI first then 40 to Ulmer Park. However this move to train the UP drivers first may indicate that UP may actually get theirs first, but we'll see once October gets here what the MTA does.
@richardflint2010 Yep, don't forget that Ontario's GO Transit has Prevost buses used for commuter service too. And I bet MTA's Prevost are the 1st buses for commuter service since 12 years ago the last time they build commuter coaches
That's a great commuter express motorcoach there and provides a new look for today's commuter coach after previous year where only MCI produce those kind of buses. These will look great along with its mates running on express route service while its on the road.
their first look at the U.S.S. Excelsior]
Uhura: Would you look at that!
Kirk: My friends, the great experiment: The Excelsior. Ready for trial runs.
Sulu: She's supposed to have transwarp drive.
Scotty: Aye, and if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a wagon!
Kirk: Come, come, Mr. Scott. Young minds, fresh ideas. Be tolerant!
