  • This is the countrys main road leading to the city centre from the airport. Buildings mushroomed so fast to get compensation when demolition is proposed.

I bought a land to the road in 1993

Paid a thousand now I plant a tree

They want it back to extend the road

Its worth a million or maybe more

  • AFRICA IS A WEIRD PLACE ---YOU BUY LAND THEN THEY TELL U NO THIS IS A ROAD RESERVE

  • so these guys have been watching Sameer group building that park just to tell them btw we will be making a road there.

  • no compromise...future Country Prosperity comes first!

  • They are right from an immediate economic standpoint, blatant demolishing would be disastrous, What the gov't needs to do is to discuss with the investors.

  • BOMOA ZOTE!!!! The expected future benefits from the road are more than the costs of the buildings!

  • OOooh NO!!! I honestly don't buy this plot, why dint they tell the investors way before for example the standard building has just been there for a few months and its still under construction .

Sameer park is still being done (how unfair) well not to count that my company falls under the demolition, i guess its unfair!!!!

  • @swittykarendi Unfair is not the word, this is stupid! They don't count the loses they are causing here! How much are these companies bringing into the country? Seriously, there is someone sleeping on the job in the name of developement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • didn't they just build sameer business park? that would be such a waste...I'm for an alternative route but if they can't the compensate them and demolish those structures....Good roads will benefit generations to come.

  • No! No! they should move -- that is how other countries have made it to prosperity, ensuring that there is infrastructure! These people should know that this is meant for the future of Kenya and not just them!

  • ngoa hizi ngombe!!
