o so thats how that game is played. theres this pool hall i got to a lot in santa ana ca. the majority of people who go there are hispanic and i believe most are mexican and i always see a lot of them play like that, funny its originally from honduras. they play a bunch of carambola there too. its nice to see another latino comin up.
nice very nice,,i play UK 8 ball so i find the American game very heavy and difficult to control(probably because i never play lol),,but that runout is all about development, doubling and rolling balls down the cushion,,a lot of skilled shots with positioning making them easier,,gr8 vid man
Running the table without touching any other balls except the lowest numbered ball? That would be extraordinary. It would be cool if you did that on video and posted it here!
I think shes talking about a practice in which all balls are frozen against the wall. One starts with ball in hand and has to pot as many as possible without touching any others. However.. this is not in rotational order! Cool video..
i must say - great position play, bank shots are down the middle of the pocket, and i really apreciate the "more info" part on the right explaning the game. I was wondering how come the inside spin didnt take the CB back, and there it is - rail first - i play a lot and didnt knew that move :) Keep up the good work! PS: How did you calculate the humidity?:)
The humidity here at the beach can present challenging conditions because it changes constantly. I have an on-site weather station which gives continuous measurements.
Glad you picked up on the "more info" link to the right, and especially the inside spin rail first 4-ball shot. Sure is a beauty!
What a great run! From 4 to 5 just an awesome shot. I'll try to run that, but probably never even come close. How often do the best players break and run?
That's just Tony. He's always chalked like that. I used to play him back in the early 90s at a place called Greenfelt Downs in Vista, CA. I think Tony probably used the money he won from me to finally buy a cue stick. He always just used a house cue back then. He's an amazing player; such a relaxed and effortless stroke. Definitely a guy to watch if you want to get better.
Very impressive CB control. Congrats catracho, Nicely done.

Very impressive showing. What kind of camera did you use for this?
mlomas469 3 years ago
Camera used is the Canon HG10, Hi-Def, with hard disk drive. Then loaded into a iMovie08 on a MacBookPro, then to YouTube from there.

Two-thumbs up!

nice control and run.i guess that from 4 to five the aim was to hit the cushion between 14 and 15, not below the 15.
anyway: good one.
