  • sure do miss these days of fun, dance all night with your only girlfriend... other than vietnam sure miss the 60's

  • @MrVicunas The 60's were the best times of my life! It started going south in the very early 70's. And today!

Forget about music, we have no more freedoms in this country. You can't smoke in a park or on a sidewalk??

    PLEASE!!!!

  • in the late 60's he played alot in linden new jersey at the club d lane***my dad use to bartend there***fantastic johnny c rocked the joint

  • @unitels2 SHO YOU RIGHT!

  • I used to get this one, "Funky Broadway", and "Sweet Sould Music" mixed up...

  • I still have the 45 rpm! Played it till it darn near worn out! And wouldn't you love to hear it remixed with a more full-bodied sound?!?!

  • @muddyooch Sure! If you have I'll do a remake with very high resolution pics.

    Thanks muddyooch.. Are you Italiano?

  • Boogaloo-ed my butt off back in the day to this song.

  • one bad ass record!

  • Now this is what you party to!! All these sorry young "so called" pop music kids out nowadays are just wannabees, no idea as to what real music is. This is how we used to party back in the 60's and 70's. Not a curse word mentioned, no guns or killing. Just good, clean fun and a whole lot of moving. It's sad that today's genre of music has gone straight to hell!!!!

  • @Diva2678 You said it best! The days of wine and roses are over...

  • @Diva2678 - You are absolutely right on every count! Not only that, we were in better shape physically than the kids are today. We did, as you said, "a whole lot of moving", dancing, playing, etc. Not sitting in front of the t.v. from sun up to sun down. They just don't know what they're missing and it's killing them to boot. SMH

  • This song is in the movie Casino.

  • This is one of the first sessions recorded by legendary Philadelphia drummer Earl Young, who also played that scorching drum solo on "The Horse." Earl played on all of those gold and platinum Gamble & Huff hits such as "The Love I Lost," "Bad Luck," "Love Train," "For the Love of Money" and "Me & Mrs. Jones," He is a two-time Grammy winner and the founding member of The Trammps.
