Now this is what you party to!! All these sorry young "so called" pop music kids out nowadays are just wannabees, no idea as to what real music is. This is how we used to party back in the 60's and 70's. Not a curse word mentioned, no guns or killing. Just good, clean fun and a whole lot of moving. It's sad that today's genre of music has gone straight to hell!!!!
@Diva2678 - You are absolutely right on every count! Not only that, we were in better shape physically than the kids are today. We did, as you said, "a whole lot of moving", dancing, playing, etc. Not sitting in front of the t.v. from sun up to sun down. They just don't know what they're missing and it's killing them to boot. SMH
This is one of the first sessions recorded by legendary Philadelphia drummer Earl Young, who also played that scorching drum solo on "The Horse." Earl played on all of those gold and platinum Gamble & Huff hits such as "The Love I Lost," "Bad Luck," "Love Train," "For the Love of Money" and "Me & Mrs. Jones," He is a two-time Grammy winner and the founding member of The Trammps.
my parents told me they use to play this song for me as a child just to see me try and boogaloo down broadway. Glad they don't have any embaressing pics of that. Thanks for the memory.

@MrVicunas The 60's were the best times of my life! It started going south in the very early 70's. And today!
Forget about music, we have no more freedoms in this country. You can't smoke in a park or on a sidewalk??
PLEASE!!!!
