Was ihr alle habt?^^ Das Ding lief nicht in Nardo über 400kmh...das ist ein Irrtum!Der 200er hat das mal so nebenbei in Talladega USA gemacht.Dort betrug die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit 332,58Kmh und das war eine Rundstrecke mit 2 Geraden!Der Audi war komplett umgebaut für diesen Versuch!Optimale Gewichtsverteilung etc...der Motor drehte 7200 Umin im Schnitt und Ende war bei 7700...7200 =350 Kmh...Ihr könnt sämtliche Daten und umbauten nachlesen!

das stimmt schon. kommt ja nicht nur drauf an, wieviel leistung der motor hat, sondern wieviel davon noch auf die straße gebracht wird. und ein f1 renner hat durch die freistehenden räder einem extrem schlechten cw wert. wenn man an die leistungen der alten gruppe b rallyboliden denkt. dann der s1 pikes peak..... es gibt auch noch andere marken die in der zeit super leistungen gebracht haben. sowas wirds heute nicht merr geben. auch wenn die "serienautos" immer höhere ps zahlen kriegen.

nein, du kennst doch bestimmt Need for Speed da kannste doch immer einstellen was mit den Gängen. Das Getriebe wird einfach länger gemacht so das man z.B. net vom 3 in den 4 bei 150km/h schaltet sondern z.B. erst bei 180km/h. Man kann dann die Gänge länger drin lassen und erreicht in dem Gang ne höhere Geschwindigkeit
@Kreckkiller Es gibt übersetzungen =) Eine höhere übersetzung bedeutet mehr endgeschwindigkeit aber der Motor muss mehr leisten das heisst leider auch dass das Auto keinen guten anzug mehr hat. Eine Kurze übersetzung und das ding schiesst direkt los hat aber keine gute endgeschwindigkeit mehr.

Großes physikalisches Missverständnis. Für die Höchstgeschwindigkeit (im Gegensatz zur Beschleunigung) spielt das Gewicht keine Rolle. Die Vmax wird vom Luftwiderstand begrenzt, nicht vom Gewicht des Autos. Ob der Veyron nun eine Tonne wiegt oder zwei oder drei, ändert an seiner Vmax fast nichts.

perfectly reasonable, an enzo generates around 2 tons aof downforce and with that comes a crap load of aerodynamic drag, that audi has got no downforce and would have a lot less drag and with similar power to the enzo it is entirely possible to do 250mph.
although in the video the speed board said 340kmph which is roughly 210mph
WRONG, the Enzo REDUCES its downforce above 200mph so at 220mph the Enzo has a fraction of the downforce it has around 180mph
No downforce at all? Can you say LIFT-OFF??? That's what happened to early land speed record cars when approaching speeds over 200mph. The air under the car lift the car up and a slight turning means the car spins out of control. This killed Bernd Rosemeyer in 1938 when he drove his Auto Union at 270mph!!

Einfach nen langes Getriebe, kannste auch bei nem Golf machen mit ca. 200PS Turbo z.B. einfach langes Getriebe und das ding läuft auch seine 300+

I'm pretty sure that's the Audi 5000 Turbo quattro that was driven by Bobby Unser at over 200mph average speed at Talladega in 1986.
No 5V cylinder head was used in a production Audi until the B5 A4 10 years later.

Umm, no, Audi has used 5 cylinders since the mid seventies. 10V and 20V, but no production 25V. The first production 5V cylinder head from Audi was in the B5 A4.

I'm sure that this Audi Sport 200tq/5000CS quattro wasn't a modified Group A car but a stock car according to NASCAR homologation demands.
It also marked the era of Audi's 5v/z (5 valves per cilinder) philosophy with their 2226cc 25v inline-5.
The drag coefficient was about 0,33 Cd, so 400 km/h was unlikely.

The Sauber Mercedes C11 made 410 km/h in Le Mans. No way this Audi made 400 km/h! Why? Because the Mercedes had 900+ HP and was made for it! Plus, it had a really long straight to reach the 400+ km/h!

That adds a lot of drag!
An F1 car would go 360-370 km/h in race spec, but without the wings it seems to go way over 450 km/h.

FALSE, F1 cars have WAY too much pressure drag. Honda's effort at Bonneville proved that they could go over 400, but 450 is WAY out of the league for a formula car.

The WM Peugeot team has the top speed record for LeMans in 1989 with Roger Dorchy reaching 405km/h on the Mulsanne straight. The WM Peugeot had almost no wing,and all the ducts were taped over and the PRV V6 engine tuned to its maximum. The WM Peugeot was a lot more aerodynamic than an Audi Sedan and had a lot more horsepower too and it still reached 405km/h and retired with a destroyed engine.
I've read about this Audi, it went around 340km/h like sign says. 400 is pure gibberish.

Who says the top speed was over 400km/h? The guy in the video? And who else? I think 400km/h asking for 800 HP and the right aerodynamics. They have modified the 200 but I don't think's it's good enough for 400 km/h. At least not on an oval. Maybe on a really long straight.

Yes, they weren't racing in any NASCAR organized races but the Talladega car was homologated according to NASCAR demands.
I never understood why though... Perhaps to get access to certain speedways?

this car never went 400 kph. Type in pboursin pdgaero into google.
It only achieved 350 kph. It is near impossible to achieve 400 kph with 650 hp no matter how good your aerodynamics are, unless you have a Cd of around 0.25 and really long gearing, neither of which this Audi had. 350 kph is spectacular, especially with a modified Group A rally car, but 400 is untouchable. The first to reach that speed at Nardo was the Dauer 962. The second was the Veyron

that thing never went 400 kph, notice that the sign says 332 and 340 kph. The Ruf Rt12 even visually seems much faster, and it "only" goes 360 kph

No surprise: Nardo'is an endless straight - no downforce needed as there is no cornering,no accelerations nor braking,no handling problems.More, a long smooth shaped limousine can have e much better cx than a real highperformance sport car as like as F40 or Enzo etc.-
Driving such a 600 hp Audi in a speedway (even a fast track as Monza) would be disappointing - you will go faster with a 385 hp Carrera because of weight,gear ratio,handling,braking,grip,acceleration and so on-

perfectly reasonable, an enzo generates around 2 tons aof downforce and with that comes a crap load of aerodynamic drag, that audi has got no downforce and would have a lot less drag and with similar power to the enzo it is entirely possible to do 250mph.
although in the video the speed board said 340kmph which is roughly 210mph

WRONG, the Enzo REDUCES its downforce above 200mph so at 220mph the Enzo has a fraction of the downforce it has around 180mph
No downforce at all? Can you say LIFT-OFF??? That's what happened to early land speed record cars when approaching speeds over 200mph. The air under the car lift the car up and a slight turning means the car spins out of control. This killed Bernd Rosemeyer in 1938 when he drove his Auto Union at 270mph!!
