My Budgie Wheatly looks just like Tango :3 He's just over 2 nmonths old and is tame, bug not finger tame. He keeps flapping away from my finger D: I hope I can get a good relationship with him one day. He quite happily listens to Tango's chirps and chirps back :3

@lolbooomlol well, hurry and birds in general are not friends at all. I think the best way to have some progress is spending time with them so they can perceive you as part of their environment. But the day to see them jumping on your finger is not very close anyway. So, even if you don't want to hear it ... you have to be patient! ;-)

@lolbooomlol its all about spending alot of time with them and constantly talking to them.

My girlfriend bought a Budgie a few weeks back and i spend alot of time with it,it will jump onto my finger no problem but because my girlfriend hasnt spent to much time with him,he wont go anywhere near her.

i had the same problem, untill i started hanging out with my budgie all the time, and talking to it calmly and happily. and let it out of the kage whenever it wanted to, i did all that in three wweeks and the only time he bites me is when hes angry.

(ps. when he bites just enjure it. hell find you not being a threat and stop.)

if that doesent help then i`m all out of ideas. i bled some drops but it was worth it. good luck. :)

i had the same problem when i first got my budgie. but i let it bite me and after a while it just stopped. you can try pushing it's head down every time it tries to bite you. good luck!
