Hello. i´m new with photoshop, but it´s pretty simple, except for deleting the white. Offcourse i can just cut out the black...But i wanna get e better feel of photoshop anyway...I hear him/you saying tab delete....When i do this....fill occurs on the screen...Can anybody help?

what's the point of removing the whiteness? I mean like after u mess with the threshold you print it and proceed to cut it out...

theres a more simple way to create a multilayer stencil :

put the image on greyscale then go to image-->adjustments-->posteriz­e ..then you can choose how many layers you want ,then go to filter-->artistic-->cutout and here you can get the options on the simplicity level and afew other options

This is a good tutorial however when I use the exact method, ive never had an image with basic blocks of colour like yours? Threshold never gets me 3 simple layers like this. They are always too complicated to cut out. Any ideas?

okay so i have a different kind of photoshop and it doesn't have color range...i still use the the little drop thing, but I am doing something wrong. what else can I use that is similar to color range...by the way this video is by far the easiest one i've found for multilayer stencils! thank you!!!
