H. Malabaricus have a very distinct lateral line and their head is more rounded. Lacerdae( and aimara) do not have lateral lines and their heads are noticeably pointed. Aimara will have the black checker mark on the gill plate. And of course the area from which they are collected also helps to identify.
Well, it turns out I'm keeping him. Too many people flaked on the deal, which is so surprising since he is such a rare wolf. But I had to sell him because of financial reasons. I also had an aimara that I had to sell also. That was tough.

No this is a hoplias Lacerdae.
