  • we spend 40 years developing benches to increase stability to lift heavy ass weights, and this shit pops up and ruins 40 freaking years of hard work trying to keep people safe.ultimate safety;POWER RACK AND TWO SETS OF PINS! enough said.

  • I'm scared of doin these...wat if the ball pops

  • how long it take to get that body

  • you are in ridiculously good shape. #onmyway

  • im a newbie. so many reps/sets should i do on this specific exercise?

  • Was that 25kg or 25lb?

  • @NZxDeStRoYeRxNZ lbs in america

  • @NZxDeStRoYeRxNZ 25 lbs

  • so cute..

  • jejeje so good your vids scott but i got one 4 u i just bought men's health magazine here in mexico and iwas seeing it when i saw a peculiar pic of somebody i think could be u but the name that appear is scott mcdermott so my question is, the hit uy working out with the bar is u??? hope so

  • ahaha did anyone else see the childish bounce at 1:07 and think "aww"? lol

  • @thekoolestguyaaa Stabillity training while hit your chest in a whole new way, and your abs will be working to

  • @thekoolestguyaaa it forces you to balance...which in turn works your core.

  • AND OH !! lmao you said nipple line ^_^

  • scott herman..omg i cant get enough of you. please come to vancouver..PLEASE!

  • idk if its just me but this feels like a total body workout. i felt it in my calves, hams, quads, glutes, core, chest, back, and neck.

  • @RainbowRyanlol correct

  • I'm sorry but I laugh everytinme I see someone in my gym doing bench press off that big ball. It's completely pointless because it lessens the amount of weight you can use which then lowers the effectiveness of muscle contractions. ANd they are very dangerous. Benching off an unstable base is actually foolish and I highly advise everybody to never do this. If you want to work your abs, then just work your abs on the ball, but for god sake don't bench press off this ball. This is an foolish.

  • @Njderig The point of this exercise is not to go as heavy as you can, it's to improve your agility, coordination, stability and proprioception rather than a mass exercise. It also puts more variety in your workout and hit your chest differently. Working on an unstable surface isn't dangerous as long as your careful and you do a weight that you can do (Ex: squat on swiss ball or bosu, chest flys, push ups, hamstring curls on swiss ball, etc.).

  • @Njderig not if you are tryin to cutting your body.. but yeah dont do that for mass gaining exercice , with a high pressure on your chest you need to get a bench

  • @Njderig

I aint got no room for a bench press so this is good for me.

When done I throw / squueze it on top of a wardrobe or in a corner etc

  • cool

  • @phillyeagles217 Smith machine is terrible. Machine's dont work your stabalizers at all.

  • @orochimaruisugly doesn't mean you can't use them from time to time

  • @BigSamFoSho No, you're wrong. You should avoid machines at all times.

  • @orochimaruisugly Basically I agree with you, machines won't let you use those "stabilizers muscles", but it is also wrong to completely avoid machines. There's some things you can't do with dumbbells like pulldowns. And if you do a lil research you can see that Weider and Coleman have the same opinion

  • @BigSamFoSho You can do One arm DB Rows and Bent over DB rows instead of lat pulldowns, but you have a good point. And I don't consider cables as machines. Cables are an exception.

  • Would love to see scott doing a real "typical" workout. It seems like he does so many light sets I don't know how he got those results. I hate genetics :(.

  • @thegarbageman21 Search through his vids, there are lots of "real" workouts. At least 3 whole body workouts, a band routine, multiple core workouts, back, tris, legs, chest, plyos..... It's all there for the taking buddy.

  • @vigilantezack Yeah he has a couple out there but the vast majority is light stuff. You don't get results like he got (unless he is genetic freak which he probably is). Band workouts. . . plyo's . . . please lol. That isn't for anyone looking to build muscle.

  • @thegarbageman21 Dude you still haven't looked up his stuff. I'm telling you, the guy has done oblique twists with ALL the weight on the weight stack. To do overhead triceps extensions he had to put his legs on the machine and lean almost horizontally just so the weight wouldn't fling him against the machine. He probably goes a little light in vids for proper form, but you see him bust nuts in some vids, no joke, 120lbs freeweight chest press * 8.....

  • Come on, Scott, 25's? You can do better than that. lol

  • ace excercise

  • @phillyeagles217 if you do it on a ball or bench with dumbbells you have to stabilize the weights way more so its a more efficient exercise in my opinion

  • exercise seems dangerous

  • If you lose your balance, one of those dumbells could thump you in the face. That might kinda hurt.

  • @ThaGenius101 well if your hips are up than that wunt likely happen unless some asshole comes and kicks the ball right underneath your head

  • what is the difference with this and normal bench press scott?

  • @MrHiimdarragh im pretty sure it works your core also

  • hey could you please do a video on how/ when/ how often to take creatine, even if you don't use it yourself?

  • @kmewsty93 does he not take creatine?

  • @ihateyaacov i have no idea, i could just imagine that if he did he would make a video on how to, like he did with protein shakes

  • @ihateyaacov No he personally doesn't take creatine because of the experience one of his friend's had in high school.

  • @kmewsty93 not trying to be rude but just do a little research on your own, it wont take anymore then 20 minutes to find out what you want to know....that being said, on training days take it once in the morning with a non acidic juice (i use grape juice), once in the early afternoon (assuming you workout in the evening) then once after you workout with your protein shake or bar, on non training days take it twice.

  • @Willy3794 hey thanks! yeah i knew this already, but there are so many different videos on how you should take it. im not sure about how often to take, as in long term wise. do i take it every day non stop, or like every day in one month and then not for a month?

  • @kmewsty93 2 months on then off of it for 1 month

  • @Willy3794 okay thanks! one last question: in the two months when im taking creatine, how often do i take it? once a week?

  • @kmewsty93 I messaged you

  • I was looking for a halloween costume on the internet with my friends yesterday and one of the sites i was on had star trek costumes, and guess who was modeling them ? SCOTT HERMAN ! Scott Herman James T. Kirk for the win ! keep up the videos man they are awesome !
