  • Belive thats a 0-4-0 not a 2-4-0 and i have not seen this in a long time!

  • I remember watching this long time ago when lord harris was broadcasting his programe in how to draw cartoons

  • This is apparently the first time "fuzzy" textures were successfully animated. How far we've come since then!

  • reminds me of Thomas!

  • awesome

  • This just makes me simile.

  • Thank you!

I would love to see this in HD!

  • I remember back in the day when I used to watch this video on VHS when I was 5...The good ol' days :)

  • Cute animation !

  • I Saw this too when i was a kid on my old pc i still got in my home :D

  • thomas sqweeking brakes heard on this

  • @Tomfunkforever that brake squawl can also be heard in Emperer of the North.

  • Oh man, nostalgia; I remember watching these before Reboot came on. Great episode too, I love that little locomotive.

  • pretty clever idea, which i like of course as a train fan. idk how i remember this but some of the train noises in this vid sound the same as in thomas the tank engine vids that i use to watch when i was little, such as the brakes.

  • This is so awesome!!!!

  • Hola: en donde puedo conseguir este video completo?

  • Very realistic, despite the fact the engine and caboose moved in impossible angles. 5/5 stars

  • the company that does this is called "Pacific Data Images".

They made the movies "Shrek and

"Antz". Antz was the only movie

they made that has their logo.

  • Haha.. cute, especially the caboose.

  • OMG OMG OMG!!!! I saw this when i was a kid. It was on VCR. It messed up. i missed it and wanted to watch it. 10 years later and im watching a polar express vid and clik locomotion. ty 5/5.

  • That's amazing--it must have taken up a hundred 1980s HDDs!

  • This is AWESOME! To be that Old, the Train was very Well done and Cartoonish... XD

  • This was my favorite animation as a kid

  • lol that 2-4-0

  • interesting vid

  • this is the best train animation EVER!!!!!

  • Dude I used to watch this video over and over When i was a kid

    And today i love it

    Nice

  • Awosme!!! 5/5

  • Keep in mind: This was done in 1989, 2 years before even Jurassic Park! The 486 came out that year and the Amiga ruled supreme..

As far as realism goes this was back then pretty much the gold standard, not even Pixar could compare (although Knick Knack, released at the same time, was darn funny! ;-)

  • this was is what would eventually become The Polar Express

  • i remember watchin this when i was 4 years old, and i always would rent it from my local library from where i used to live. it was always fun watchin it. now memories i get to re live again.

  • that was pretty cool. like an old school cartoon but 3d animated.
