But i think you're trying a bit to hard. you should losen a bit up and pick out several fills you at least know are reggae and keep it simply that way. it's a bit to much of a rockdrummer trying to be badass while playing reggae.

This is pretty good. But what I would have done at the start is to wait 'till Rihanna started singing, instead of cuing in a little early. I would have also done cross-sticking instead of straight snare( would reserve it for the chorus nd bridge),to give a little more reggae feel. Just sharing my approach to this particular song. Love it, tho!!! :D -Coming from a Jamaican resident. =]

you know i love the way your toms sond...but your snare is bugging me..haha just my opinion you should like loosen the Resin and tighten your batter....like i love how the drummer from Underoath has it and thats how i have mine...sounds really hollowish and you should try it out...oh and you should try to cover Coming down is Calming down by Underoath...PLEASE haha there are no decent covers of that sound with good quality
