Incredible short, Sternio - this has better production value than most things I've seen on T.V. As I myself am in college and working to major in computer science, I've seen this multiple times to look at multiple aspects of the video and I must say the timing, camera angles and lighting are all magnificent. One thing I didn't like though was how the main character held the box with one hand on an edge with no weight shifting. Other than that this is, I must say, very high-quality work good job.

@zubingala1 I don't know about other things the character rigs are provided by AnimationMentor (as he was their student). And as he has Jason Ryan as one of his mentors no doubt he will be very good at animating.

However, I went back into it to polish the animation and add the final details which took over a year (part time) Start to finish, the process took me almost two years.

My best advice would be to keep your assignments super simple and really polish them. Take on less and do more.

@MTSPhoto I think the best advice I could give on how to brainstorm for an animated film is to rely on your personal experiences. Don't draw from things you've seen in other animation or movies. A great place to start is with jokes that you share with family and friends.

Committing to an idea is a huge part of being an animator. A trick to doing this is that you can always tell yourself you can do the other ideas later but THIS is the idea I am doing now.
