I'm not really digging this concept. Way back in the day before electricity people used gas or oil lamps to light their homes and the street lights were oil, too. And they stayed up late then, that's not a 'new' thing. And in the winter I'd bet that people ate More carbohydrates because grain lasts so long and sometimes meat was scarce. If the body can adapt to so many different things, why would it not adapt to a persons sleeping pattern? If I go to china where it is a 12 hour difference in time then my body will be force to adapt, will it not? So Why can't my body adapt to sleeping from say 4AM - 12PM rather than 10PM - 6AM. It is the same 8hrs, only thing different is I'm not sleep at 10PM but other people maybe. Because their bodies are accustom of sleeping at 10PM.

Before the Big Bang theory atheists insisted the Universe was eternal to avoid the argument of who created the universe. An eternal God has no beginning and, therefore, no cause greater than himself. What about people of Inuit descent whose ancestors were required to thrive on a diet of meat and fat because that's all there was in their environment? Of course people whose ancestry comes from hot and tropical climates with abundant vegetation could probably thrive off more unrefined carbs, but if you're Swedish or English, probably not so much.

And I'm not saying people need to completely eliminate carbs. Carbs from non-starchy vegetables and low-sugar fruits are fine. It also depends on how metabolically damaged people are as well. You wouldn't restrict as many carbs with someone who's 10 pounds overweight, as someone who's 70 pounds overweight.

Human body is amazing in its adaptations to any enviornment . It can make sugars from proteins and even some fats under certain conditions but make no mistake , we need sugar or carbs especially for the heart and brain, two essential organs. That's why eating sweet things feel good and when we are stressed our body wants us to fill up on carbs for a reason. Unfortunatelly modern lifestyle has affected this where people still eat carbs when they are stressed but do not spend it.
