I don't know where the stereotype of asians being good at math came from, however I do know that eastern asia is highly traditional-based, and fairly rigid in it's education, as told by the people that've lived there/worked there
perhaps the education system brings about these things, in which case the cultures themselves are reinforcing the stereotypes without bothering to explain why there seems to be truth to it
anyways, a lot of behaviours strengthen the stereotypes amongst ethnicities
trying to argue based on technicalities does not address any issues and sounds soppy
a lot of the dissonance is culture, disguised as racism, for instance, I like western culture and so on
I don't like most of african and asian culture, and the south americans' either, in short I really like the culture I'm a part of
a lot of the time it's just lack of ability to articulate what they're feeling, and that'd solve a lot, I expect people learning in my area to adopt it's norms too, and vice versa

The reality is the people DO experience race in the classroom environment, and instructors need to address this. Great video, thanks.

We need to stop using the outdated and unscientific word "race" and its associated words.
There is one race -- the human race.
There is no gene for race.
The word race was invented in 1580 by people who didn't know any better, before the human genome was mapped.
Use the word ethnicity instead of race.
One love, one blood, one people
One heart, one beat, we equal
Connected like the Internet
United that's how we do
