As much as I like my PS3 I'm going to say that there is ONE thing that Microsoft does better, and that's the online (I would of said the controler but then I remembered the old fatty controller from the original Xbox :P) because if I have to pay for a online service, I expect it to be good, if not, outstanding. yes, xbox 360 has it's flaws, I love it, but it's not the best console ever made, neither is ps3, here are some flaws of the ps3 that some fanboys deny against.
1. Can't do cross-game chat
2. yellow light of death
3. lack of backwards compatibility with ps2 games(actually, I thought ps2 was way better than ps3)
4. psn is free, but that doesn't make it perfect
5. good exclusives, just not a lot
6. slow download time (that depends)

im a person who likes to have the new things when i can. i dont own a ps3 or xbox360. i dont like to buy electronics when they first come out so i can research them, and give the company time to work out bugs. however i hate when i buy something, then the new one comes out a few months later. should i try to get a ps3 or 360 for x-mas this december, or should i wait for the ps4 / xbox720?......also if your friends all have 360's.....but you like the ps3 games / features...which is a better buy??

I own an xbox for 2 years and im kind'a dissapointed. This thing breaks 3 f*uckin times, rrod dammit.... And its not because i played 2 much, just because ms wanted 2 earn some extra money on their customer. Im thinking now about buying ps3, cuz its now owns such games as Uncharted 2, MGS, Motorstorm and many others. PS3 also have lower failure rate, which fact concern it as a best console in nowadays.
If you havent played too much and its been 2 years now then maybe you should know that 2 years ago Falcon chipsets were released.And the failure rates for those are pretty low.You should also know that usually, when you ship your console for repairs, the system you send is not the system you get back.

Ps3 load upp faster than xbox 360. It´s have not many games yet. They going to load upp or they already out 274 games in one rare. Xbox 360 had load upp 280 so yest 6 games more.
Xbox 360 has not the same good graphiq ass ps3. Ps3 has mutch good graphiq then xbox 360. Sony owns Xbox so hard xbox is so far away from good then ps3 it have gon far ower good to to good.
2. Generally exlusives looks better on their respective systems than cross-platform games. But if you look at Bioshock and Assassin's Creed etc. they look better on the 360 and the FRAMERATE is liquid 60FPS for most games. Lets not forget the fact that ALL 360 games to 1080p...

I got both and frankly I think the 360 is better Now i do have a ps3 slim and a 360 elite so i cant say anything about the hdd space but the online and games and features are so much better in the 360

Blu-ray doesn't need to be used for games, it's easy to compress the files and just unload (install) them to the hard drive. PC gaming has done that for years, don't know why console dev teams haven't grasped that concept yet.

I don't know about you, but the few times that I actually do play my PS3, I get tons of lag, no matter what game. The only time that I can escape from the lag is when I get lucky enough to host my own room in CoD4, other than that, my entire experience is shit.

Ps3 load upp faster than xbox 360. It´s have not many games yet. They going to load upp or they already out 274 games in one rare. Xbox 360 had load upp 280 so yest 6 games more.

Graphics are sharper and better lighting - even when PS3's full potential is not used as in most multi-platformers. PS3 exclusives strides ahead of 360 ones.
Internet is free. Blu-ray makes for better graphics and more space.
Controller is nicer feeling - less chunky.
XMB is way better.
More reliable with less faults.
More powerful. Better games with an incredible 2009 line-up.
Overall, PS3 is far superior. Don't deny it!

Nobody cares about graphics, gameplay is much more important, and I find that most of the PS3 exclusives fail in this aspect. KZ2 was terrible.
Blu-ray doesn't need to be used for games, it's easy to compress the files and just unload (install) them to the hard drive. PC gaming has done that for years, don't know why console dev teams haven't grasped that concept yet.
More powerful? Yeah. Better for gaming? Not really.
Games are opinion, not fact.
PS3 isn't superior.

I would go so far as saying it is the best online shooter ever to come out on console. it certainly destroys anything 360 could and ever has or will produce. Inferior online service? No, don't have to pay and updates are frequent and very useful. Customer service is also excellent. Blu-ray doesn't need to be used, true. However, Sony are using it and to great effect. It ruins 360.

I don't know about you, but the few times that I actually do play my PS3, I get tons of lag, no matter what game. The only time that I can escape from the lag is when I get lucky enough to host my own room in CoD4, other than that, my entire experience is shit.
