Government has most often created our problems
e.g. USPS, Freddie, Fannie, SEC, IRS, Medicare, TSA, ATF, DOD, DOE, Federal Reserve Bank, DIA, Roe vs. Wade, Education, Social Security, EPA, etc.
Have you wondered why we work until AUGUST... every year just to pay our TAXES?
Or thought about the TOTAL COST to run our MASSIVE Government Bureaucracy?
Gov. Payrolls are MONUMENTAL!
And the Government produces NOTHING it only CONSUMES our TAX dollars.

Reining in the medical insurance industry that's been siphoning off billions from the economy is probably the most effective way to get the economy back on it's feet for a sustainable length of time. Health Care Reforn is all about that. Republican opposition is nothing more than corporate politicians cow-towing to their biggest contributors regardless of what's good for the Nation. Making sure people who are out of work are able to stay healthy is the number one way of making sure people are still eligible for jobs as we improve our economy and jobs become available. Obama can focus on whatever the hell he likes. Ultimately, it is Congress that must enact legislation to make things happen... but they are so ineffective that it is impossible for anything to get done, whatever the priority.

I am now on Medicare, as are my 85+ folks, we have pretty good coverage and no problem finding a doctor, unlike so many who have been reamed by the corporate insurance industry. Well healthcare is not the federal governments duty...it is up to the states per our constitution. Plus the current bill is unconstitutional because it gives special treatment for certain states that the rest will not receive.
