I think there is more to God and the Bible then "Love one Another." I truly believe we think God is in a little box. He doesn't know a thing. I believe in a truth that nobody knows about. I am a Christian. I believe Gods Word. Every chapter every verse every line. I think we have carnals minds sometimes. We don't realize who God really is and what He can do in someone's life.
I thought we became Christian to escape the wrath to come. We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19 but don't forget why Jesus came...not to improve our life, but save us from death John 3:16
Sadly, Christianity in America is so distorted from the ancient original expression of the Faith that it is difficult to have any real dialogue about it here. I would encourage anyone who is genuinely curious about the truth of the Christian faith, to explore the Orthodox Church. There is a continuity of expression and understanding of truth which is not seen in any Protestant, Catholic or any other nondenominational group that calls itself "Christian".
Kudos to a Christian with the guts to honestly expose issues of the Faith to the questions and comments of those most distant from it. May we all pay attention and take a lesson. Wow! Could this be the "change" America's searching for?
