I am a zerg player, adn I see it all WAY before it comes. But for some reason, mimicking your build order, even modding it just a bit to make sure i have the minerals to circumvent my opponent';s attacks are just difficult. any help here would be GREATLY appreciated.

DignitasApollo, if you see this in your mail, I hope you can have an answer. I have foiled cheese and extremely early attacks time and time again, but now I seem to have difficulty doing this. I am trying to be a better sc2 player, but the noobish attempts at making higher leagues by cheesing by other players is downright difficult to circumvent unless I do the same thing they do, except better. Can you make a video of you stomping on all the terms that I list in my next post?

I always thought that with build orders it was meant that at the moment you have that supply you make an extracter or something else.

Say in a 14/14 build when you make the drone so its 14/18 then you take a worker that is harvesting and build an extractor before the 14/18 drone is actually finished...

Have i always been doing this wrong then?

@LetalisLatrodectus It doesn't mean the exact moment you reach the supply. e.g. 14 hatch means "stop building drones once you reach 14 supply and then build a hatchery"

So in a 14g14p build you can make the gas extractor almost immediately when you reach 14 supply (they only cost 25 minerals) yet as is explained in this video that is not what you do, you wait till that drone is done and then build the extractor. (at that moment he is banking around 100 minerals)

@LetalisLatrodectus yea this is wrong. its more like 14/18 then build another drone make it 15/18 then use the 14th hatching drone to make the building i usually set a rally near where i want to build with the hatching drone on 14 and build another drone build my building set th next "14" drone to a rally then get my 15 and once the 14 hatches get the next

Hopefully someone can answer this, but are the 5:30 etc timings assuming clean build orders?

@Kingmoron7289 those timings are usually when your enemy will have any sort of tech, even if the build is sloppy you'll know if he's going robo, air or gate way. If your enemy's build is sloppy you'll just know that you can kill him without much trouble by scouting him at those times.

man.... THANK YOU! I actually thought that i was good. My macro has gotten better, I am actually surprised at some of the build orders these guys are going, and I have noticed that most bronze league players,l when losing their entire base, go to an all-out safety war and get an expo at some random spot on the map. Then they either build mass cannons/missile towers and bunkers/spines and spores. very annoying, but with your help, by this time I creep speaded the map, and own four expo. thanks

Tip for mutas -- when you create them, you can Ctrl-click the eggs you created and bind them to the hotkey before they hatch. Wherever your hotkey goes the mutas will follow when they hatch.

I must admit, I used to be a high diamond player overall but quit sc2 for a while. I came back and switched my race and have been trying to find one single race for me. Doing so I've dropped down some leagues but anyway I found this video very insightful even as a higher up player and not a bronze. i love what your doing. i'm a platnum player but i watch alot of pro players all the time that i start to try to do the things they do and it just doesn't work out because they are just too good at doing everything at once. so a basic just bare bones walk through of good successful easy to control plans like this against not the best players. really seems to simplify the game. trying to play pro level when your only a platnum over complicates things. makes the game REAL stressful. keep it up :)

i hate bronze retard complaining about cheese. against zerg,9 scout, againts protoss, 9 scout as well, if he has no gas and no buildings he is obviously proxying (also check the nexus energy , if its over 70, he is fourgating). scout terran on 9 as well, especially on the map good for proxying.terran can proxy and not lose cuz of it, because they're op. and bronze players are retarded btw, first learn builds like fourgate, then when you get cheesed stfu.

@TheBigBeav first all ins are not a cheese, there all ins, bunker rush is a standard strat vs zergs and people who expo 1st, 10 pool is consider an mixed build, its not damaging to eco, while allowing you to take advantage of fast expos. Learn the ins and outs of build, learn how they work, then counter them when you scout them, complaining in comments will not make you better

@Citharn He gets cheesed in a later vid - a two gate proxy. So long as you scout a cheese (a fairly big clue is that the opponent doesn't have production in his main), it's usually fairly easy to deal with. Not always, but usually. I'm also in Bronze, but once I got used to dealing with cheese, I found that whenever someone tried it, it ended in a win for me because once it failed the other guy had nothing to fall back on to make up for how badly behind his economy was.

He never makes any claim that this kind of play would be wise in Master's level play. He's showing basic level mechanics.

If you try to teach new players how to play like a Masters level player, their head will explode.
