Primarily, Police are used to maintain social order something we require and laws are not generated on the bases of benefiting certain social groups, but on ethics. This man may not have deserved to be so severely beaten, but this police officer responded to a percieved criminal action or aggression. Also, commiting a crime to prevent a crime doesn't work.

Where is the brutality? I see him restraining him and that doesn’t happen until he was told he is under arrest and he either tries to run or resists. Even at that, he wouldn’t have been mildly bloodied if he would just comply with the orders the officer is giving him.

I think alot of people are confused about what police brutality is.. This video is a good example. Police can do whatever they need to do to get a situation under control or to make someone stop resisting arrest. There was no brutality here. We all saw that guy resisting.

Where is the brutality? I see him restraining him and that doesn’t happen until he was told he is under arrest and he either tries to run or resists. Even at that, he wouldn’t have been mildly bloodied if he would just comply with the orders the officer is giving him.

My brother worked as a police officer for many years, but recently left to work in private security.
He often talked worriedly about enforced ‘bonding rituals’ within the Police Service- holding “convocations for a whole new spiritual realm” inside the stations, where his team all used to gather, chant, cut open their veins and mix blood, urine & semen in a seemingly earnest “striving towards a new religion”.
He became totally unable to sleep at night, haunted by evil visions.

@mastakur not all cops are pigs man. Some cops are human-beings just like the people they protect. Yeah some are fucking crazy, but not all. Cops go out everyday and risk getting ran over, shot, or stabbed. When you live with that kind of fear as your daily job it makes you very cautious. You have to look at everything as a potential threat to your life. Walk a mile in a cop's shoes and you would understand why some are so mean.

I think alot of people are confused about what police brutality is.. This video is a good example. Police can do whatever they need to do to get a situation under control or to make someone stop resisting arrest. There was no brutality here. We all saw that guy resisting.

@evilspin I've done CRC training in the military (both in my country and in the legion) and there were some arrest techniques. If someone resists, really violent, especially people who are coked or pcp'd out of their mind, it's fine to choke them. If you KNOW how to apply a choke CORRECTLY it doesn't leave any lasting damage. If you apply a rear naked choke correctly, they'll pass out, but if you do it wrong (i.e. with the forearm, rather then the inside of your elbow) t
