@hotspot85 you just need a stronger sleeper, and/or try getting some brain lube or mineral oil to put on your bearing. Clean the bearing with at least 90% rubbing alcohol overnight and then lube it up. Beyond that, just work on gettin a strong spin on your yoyo

@domdom735 I have a DM2, and I am thinking about getting a Protostar soon. If you are fairly new to yoyoing, definitely get the Protostar. I got my DM2 when I had only been yoyoing for about a month, and it has gotten a ton of scratches, chips, dents etc. since then, which makes it a lot less functional (I can only make it sleep for about 45 seconds now).

When he demonstrates Rewind in the beginning, after the Trapeze and Brother, Andre dismounts completely and goes into a full Double-or-Nothing, with the string wrapped twice around his throwhand pointer finger. But when he breaks it down, he wraps once around the throwhand pointer and once around the throwhand thumb. Which of these is correct/more common?

Can somebody help me?I have a Dm which was becoming slow, so i put some yyj thin lube on it, and it started to become a bit responsive, and I cant do grinds without it coming back to my hand.Responses will be greatly appreciated!

Some people said before but Yeah this vid is confusing. He teaches it a bit different from the way he demonstrated at the beginning. I was like wtf when I was trying to learn it from what he was saying. Then I watched different tutorials and they all pretty much showed how to do it the way he did it at the beginning and it makes alot more sense. So I figure the first way is the right way

lo i can do this and im an intermidiate just look at it in different sections learn it slowly in sections so every section (trick) stop then do the next section (trick) until you got it then start doing it more rapidly im not saying its easy cuz itz deffinatly not easy but practise it for a while i was yo yoing 24-7 practicing this trick every where i went i was practising so the sayings rite practice makes perfect :)

Look at his finger, he missed out some key movement on twist to do the double or nothing... in other words, he does something in advance to skip some step to get to double or nothing. I'm not very good at yoyoing. I practically just started and am hoping to get better. I have a Yomega Fireball High performance. It's a very nice starter in my opinion. The ball bearing is plastic though. Will this affect it's sleeping time?

@sapplaa1 It's not a ball bearing. It's a plastic transaxle. Ball bearings are bearings with little ball bearings inside.

hes uses his signature dark magic but whats important is hes using a konkave ceramic bearing which spins longer and straighter. i use the same bearing but my personal favorite yoyos are the hspin pyro and good and evil 2 or 4. if your able to get an h2o then god bless you.

every time i throw the breakaway it doesnt spin very long, i think because it tilts sideways into the string and it only spins for a few more seconds and then it stops. it doesnt give me enuff time time 2 practice this trick. any1 no wat i can do2 make it spin longer?

well maybe when you do the trapeze you could take the side with 2 strings, and push it against the yoyo on the side that need adjusted, that will even it out and if you go to far, push it back the other way. that will help even it out and hopefully let you do the trick

if you practice throwing straight.after the yoyo goes straight down practice going into a trapeze, see how long it spins for....if its not enough time to do the trick you could try using yoyo thin oil/lube.otherwise you may need a different yoyo...

Try oiling your Yo-Yo ,make sure the string isn't that tight or lose and also make the first throw stronger (snapping your arm quicker) I had the same trouble as you but I kept practicing the sleeper until a got a 40 seconds of fast spinning.
