We should know also the staging - idea to understand it . Osmino by Mr. Cencic is more decided to "grown to a man" than Osmino by Mr. Jaroussky . :-)
Though, I love the short breeches - very suitable to this character !
Both versions are incredible, but so different they could be two different arias. Max Emanuel's is more "operatic" but mon cher Philippe's is, for me, more moving.
As much as I adore Max Emanuel's voice I have to say I prefer Philippe Jaroussky's rendition of this aria... Although he looks adorable walking around watering the flower, poor thing ;)

And I still prefer Cencic's rendition of this aria to Jaroussky's. It sounds more masculine to me. Though, of course, tastes differ.
