And ur guides are really cool helped me alot when getting to understand my Hunter which i reasonally lvl to 85. I really have problems in 3s and 2s while getting trained cause i cant seem to avoid dmg and get range to do dmg. Do you have any tips on what to do or guides laying around/coming up?

Would apprissiate any kind of help. (i play with a ret and a disc in 3s and a ret in 2s)

Instead of running away from the inc DK u ran towards him, lean sideways, disengage to get to the healer on the other side. Very successful mind game! I like the play style even tho i've nvr played a hunter. Maybe playing with the force of nature is my way out rather than sticking with the force of unnature(unholy)? :p

@JaankoGaming Probably not, it's more of a show-off thing. Only time it'd be worth doing is if you've used your other important abilities and want to reset with Readiness anyway, but for that to occur, while being on the lower level of 1 specific map is pretty rare.

@JaankoGaming IF you have that op DS staff that makes u twice ur size.. u can single disengage up onto the plat form if you stand at the right distance, Ive dont it and had it done to me, hunter jumped down I chased, he disenaged back up behind the boxes, Iv also seen vids of hunters do it with a single disenage while normal sized, but Iv never been able to do it.. working ass intended.

@JaankoGaming It's possible if you disengage->readiness->disengag­e immediately while mid-air. Takes practice to be accurate though.

If you d/c at exactly the right time in Dala sewers the flood that pushes you out doesn't even work and you log back in stationary. Not worth doing on purpose because you'd get banned, but it happened to me with like 4k ms and I idled up there... then I d/c'd again and got kicked from the arena.

@omgtititititi I think those are both viable comps. PHD is viable for sure. Ret/Hunter/Sham probably isn't bad but it's not top tier I'm sure, but in the right players hands I can see it being really good still.

How do you keep your focus up and still do amazing damage??? Ik the opener takes up almost all focus and kill shot finishes well, but what about that middle part where aimed shot doesn't affect well and steady/chimera shot don't do enough damage to out heal?

@soxdakeep Controlling the healer is the key. Your damage is meaningless if the healer is not CC'd and easily heals through it. It's about WHEN you do damage, not how much necessarily. The proper time to deal dmg is when the healer cannot heal through it (target out of LoS, in a bomb, or healer CC'd).

CC chains are the key. Healers will heal through your damage easily most of the time.

Me myself i have problems to fit these into my keybinds but i guess its needed in high rated arena play or what do you think ? Do you even use tab targeting at all in arena ?

@TheFrozenSystem Depends on what you want to do really. If you pick a shaman there are 3 roles that you can do while hunters a pure dps therefore hunters will often do better in arenas/raids as dps than shamans.

There is one tiny thing disturbing this sometimes for me and correct me if I am wrong.

I am wondering how these teams you fought just get rapped. It was like watching a theseus movie- You get in, get your opener and the team dies. There were really few moments when I thought "must've been a tough game, nice one". The rest of the time it was like "Ok, priest gets a sap, mage opens, Ayume and Tosan on him, he forgets to block til 10% HP? oO" or similar.

@Gnomiliox Good players with a comp people aren't used to seeing played at that level can catch people off guard. Mine and ayumes old RMP play was extremely similar, we have good synergy and often get amazing openers. Even against top players it's possible to make the games look easy at times if played right. The RMP was 2400+, the Shadowplay was 2550-2600+, the Shadowcleave was 2400~ (multi r1 lock at least), the MLP/MLS were only 2200~, hope this helps clarify the rating range :)

Yeah, I'm totally sure of that and I don't want to underrate your teamsynergy or something (I wish I'd had a good (good in the sense of loyal) mate as you have, keep him as long as you can!!!) nor do I think the players you fought are bad. It just looked like you simply destroyed their synergy which I expected to be better than it seems to be at the specific time.

How come you went from PHD to play with a rogue instead of the DK, I know you're going with shaman because it's more anti lock (tremor, etc.). It's just that unknown combo with a rogue that makes me wonder, what you might gain something with the rogue instead of the DK?

@zodiac167 I don't know any DK's that are as good as Ayume or as synergistic with me (we've played together since vanilla). Teamwork is really important, often equally or more important than comp strength. I think PHD is a stronger comp overall but this comp works well with great coordination.

@TosanTribe Tosan what you think of the hunter 2 set? my hunters useing it atm and the amount of focus he gets back in insane, going for glad later in the season with this comp but with a priest, i like priest because the dispell leads to better mage smashing and the fear helps with the fact that sap shares dr with trap.

@Deadjokker Hpal/Disc both work, I just think shaman is the best fit because Warlocks have always been somewhat of a counter to Hunter's and Shamans handle locks the best (tremor/cleansing waters/wind shear). Also Strength of Earth totem + Windfury totem means our comp has every possible buff for melee except...kings/wild I think? Unless I'm forgetting something. It's nice synergy imo. Any healer works to a degree though, at the least, glad viable with Hpal/Disc.

@anameisnotimportant I think Hunter's have some problems, sure, but I think they're minor and mostly bugs (like pet swapping -> pet dies in 1 hit sometimes), snake traps having that annoying dot for no reason, etc.. But they're minor and although I wish they'd be changed, I won't complain about it much. I did make a thread for improvements a while ago though.
