  • i love this song!!! 100%.

  • Viva Oromia and God bless Ethiopia!

  • Viva Oromia!

  • Yes, any Oromo artist should work on developing their own culture if they believe in himself or herself. Oromo people don't need those who want play their stomach game. We need only those who believe in themselves, people and culture. I strongly suggest that people like great musician Ali Bir not to divert himself to any other language if he want to remain legend. I am always his fan but his current conduct with some little unknow people and culture doesn't make anyone happy. It looks real bad!

  • most oromo women are beautiful!!

  • Waan inni irra ga'e odeeffatnoo hin qabu. Warri VOA Afaan Oromoo osoo nuuf qoratanii gaarii dhaa.

  • Great. We need many more like this.

For long our people developed the culture of others with whom we have nothing in common.

Time has came. Now is our time and let/'s do whatever we can. The road might be rocky. But know that the tough get tough when the going get tough.

We don't live twice. Live for what you value most. My people and my culture is very important not to live or die for it.

  • @TolaBiya I love Hacahalu for his songs but usually the way some people interpret things is as usual. He is right in singing Oromo`s people, as others sing about Gojjam, Gondar, Tigray, etc. Nonetheless, still this does not mean you must hate thers. You said our people used to develop the culture of others, what about now? is that because it is culture of western, go to everywhere in Oromia, people more than their culture are homesick to other cultures. So what do you say? Please avoid complex

  • @zelju2005

Dear Friend: All I was saying was Oromos and Oromo Musicians should work on developing their culture and the culture of their people. Do you have problem with that?

  • @TolaBiya @TolaBiya

Dear, I have no problem that if you were meant to say so. Yes Oromos shall develop their culture. However, what i did not like from your previous comment was the part "For long our people developed the culture of others with whom we have nothing in common." What does it mean? you need to point out other Ethiopian cultures, particulary, Northern culture. Don`t you think that all oromos and other Ethiopians have nothing in common? absolutely wrong.

  • @zelju2005 I can tell you hundred of Oromo Artists who devoted their time and energy on Amhara and Tigre culture, art, and writings. But could you point to a single Tigre or Amhara who wrote, sang, draw or do anything about the Oromo people. All that you could tell me could be the two debtras ...Bahriy and Getachew who lived insulting the Oromo people.

  • @TolaBiya sorry for my late reply. I was away for couple of months. However, I have to sincerely remind you that there are many Amharas for instance who sang in Afan Oromo. One example for your question; do you know Zewudu Workineh; he performed in Oromifa in Derg regime; now many Amharas are also singing. But I think this is not the point; we really need to come out of loath and stereotype and base ourselves on rationality and look things in good faith; look I am happy to listen this song.

  • why do you think I am happy when I listen? because I believe we have one common Ethiopian tie that language cannot break through. I can assure you that no European or even Sudanese could feel the same way I feel when listening Oromigna or any other Ethiopian song. Even if I dont understand the language I listen it; and it gives me meaning than any other starnger; just because I am Ethiopian. That is how unity should be understood I think.

  • this is awsome!!

    i love it!

    thanks Hundol!!
