I barely agree, (emphasis on barely) Bisping is a talented fighter. But he is not legend material, as he has lost badly to two of them. He did lose badly to Silva, I bought the PPV and Bisping almost got finished at the end of all three rounds. If he had 3-4 more seconds it would have ended in ref stoppage. BUT, the British isle is quite formidable. (Pearson, McSweeny, Winner, Thompson, etc.) Dana White just needed Bisping to bring UFC to England. Put your eggs in another basket is all.

iam british and i like bisping and silva and hope bisping has improved his game enough to beat silva otherwise silva will kick his head in if bisping cannot beat wandy then it proves bisping isnt suited with the top fighters in middleweight devision and has no chance of getting a ufc belt.

Most of the recent success against Silva is from fighters who stay in the pocket and try to counter punch with power - Bisping doesn't have the chin or power to play that game. I barely agree, (emphasis on barely) Bisping is a talented fighter. But he is not legend material, as he has lost badly to two of them. He did lose badly to Silva, I bought the PPV and Bisping almost got finished at the end of all three rounds. If he had 3-4 more seconds it would have ended in ref stoppage. BUT, the British isle is quite formidable. (Pearson, McSweeny, Winner, Thompson, etc.) Dana White just needed Bisping to bring UFC to England. Put your eggs in another basket is all.

I gotta feeling Silva is going to show no respect for Bisping's striking. Most of the recent success against Silva is from fighters who stay in the pocket and try to counter punch with power - Bisping doesn't have the chin or power to play that game. He's gonna stick and move with straight shots and go for the odd takedown and try to score with GnP - danger in that plan too but better that than getting KO'd in the first round when trying to exchange.
