I understand what he means. It makes some, very watered down form of sense. He's not understanding the difference between 'faces' of a cube and 'corners.' He's using the two interchangeably- Then again, we aren't any to dispute this, because, when you think about it, it is just a corner of a face.

He separates these time zones with Sun rise, Sun fall, Midnight, Midday Which as obviously time frames labeled by us. Its all perception and in this case he might as well divide the world into 24 hours or 86400 second, in this "theory" without a theorem... it would be 576 hours or 2073600 seconds all sharing one day.
