i also really want a guinea pig but my mom hates pets but my dad thinks it would be nice for me to have a pet. he even had a dog and a cat when he was little and they used to play around alot. his dog was very smart. i liked when they were in the pen.

they mostly do it when they're younger, but big guys still do it when they're really happy - its a little jump, like a pop and they kind of jerk and twist. like a kernal of popcorn being popped! its very cute :)

Aww, your gpigs are so cute. Do you vacuum your cage daily? I have fleece bedding for my cage and vacuum it every day, wash about twice a week. =]

You can buy different types of bedding from pet stores - such as recycled paper bedding (much better for pigs than wood chips) OR you can make a fleece bedding like I have in this video - I sewed fleece like pillow cases and filled it with mattress protectors. You have to wash it once a week though - it is a lot of work.

I've never seen a black and orange guinea pig before. Thats neat. They look very comfortably around each other.

How did you make the ramp at 0:12?

The outside of the cage is made of grids that you snap together to make cubes for storage. I took two grids and bent them into half cylinders, then used zip ties to hold them together. I lined the ramp with fleece so the pigs can run up and down easily.

Take them to a vet right away - a vet that is comfortable treating guinea pigs. Look for a small animal or "pocket pet" specialist. They'll help you treat the lice. It's fairly common, but you want to take care of it right away.
