  • If i were the drummer, MAN WOULD I BE TIRED! :)

  • Now this....Is what i call music. :)

  • Hmm, listening to hollywood nights and killing zombies on black ops really work well together.

  • I can't understand why folk don't like this

  • I love how they could not decide on the drums, and went went two independent drum tracks by two players, and just mixed them together.

  • hi guys, this is V.I.B.E., we’re a rapping-singing duo, and we’re trying to get started early so we can improve and make as much good music as possible before we become fully functioning members of society and all that stuff that really matters in life is bashed out of our brains by 9 to 5s.

But… we got 8 years to make this happen, so :D

come with us on the journey, check out our channel and help two 15 year old Freshmen in their goal of making good music for you. Thanks :)

  • @legendaryicecream uhm sorry brother your in the wrong place for advertising rap music

  • @legendaryicecream Rap singing isnt good music im sorry that your 15 and this sounds harsh but listen to the song above and learn what Good music is.oldies require far far more talent that todays "music" they actually had to know how to play before they started making MUSIC

  • @mepay00 i guess to each his/her own, my belief is that music really is one of the great subjective things in life, and I suppose it really depends on your upbringing, your class and generally the environment you're raised in your taste in music.

it is also my belief though that old music as a collective catalogue wasn't necessarily better than the music of today, and the people of that time only remember the good music of their era, since nostalgia glosses over more than we give it credit.

  • @mepay00 and when you mention oldies, you have to keep in mind that the oldies of your days were the new and upcoming artists in their time, im sure they had people who were before them talking of their own oldies.

but ultimately, you still will dislike some music, and that's encouraged, because the likes and dislikes of people is what makes music such a living and ever changing thing.

i think though, you shouldn't brand an entire genre of music on the basis of a couple instances of exposure.

  • @mepay00 in a way, each person thinks the music they listen to is the best, and I suppose this is true for anything really that is so broad, be it religion, food, or customs. Being young and having much to see, I'm always eager to try anything that comes my way, so if people thrust upon me the opinion that old music is better, it doesn't upset me because ultimately i will still have my own music and I could be the better off for the exposure to their superior music

Im 15 though, so correct me.

  • @mepay00 and im not trying to be over-articulate to try and prove to you i'm not some ignorant surface rapper, any idiot with google can type up a lot of big words in a coherent sentence but go nowhere with it.

I think its good to have these intelligent debates. so thank you for engaging me.

besides that, its sunday night and im just waiting for the monday, so i have lots of time on my hands, sorry if i've filled up the comment section.

  • Loved Seger from the first I heard him. One of the best rock song writers of his era. Head and shoulders over Billy Joel IMO. Close but not equal to Bob Dylan.

His memories made him a wealthy man. God bless him.

  • my bestest song ever...tooooo gooood m mmm

  • If you really listen to the lyrics, its sooo great:D

  • this song is one of my favorite movies of all time!!!!! I love this song. Any one who doesnt like this song can reply with a bad coment, and I wont give a F**K!!!!!

  • Ok I understand people are entitled to their own opinion..But how can 3 people not like this song!!!

  • A great story to go with great music. This is speeding ticket music.

  • 3 people don't know where Hollywood is....

  • Kinda wanna go on a road trip now

  • Greatest song ever about Hollywood.

  • Nice sounding post - no video, no problem

  • This is called the real deal. Great package. Singer, drummer, lyrics, keyboards, guitars-- everything. What a treat !!!

  • So average

  • I just realized something..... I like Bob Seger's music much more than I originally thought... :)

  • drummer is doing a great job too!!!

  • A friend sent this to me. My eyes just welled up. Back in the 70's, I moved to Hollywood from a small town. Wow! I was such a kid. I lived in an area of the Hollywood Hills called Whitley heights; lots of old Hollywood homes. Used to drink at a bar called The Frolic. And I met HER. That was it. I handed over a heart I'd not known I had. I haven't heard this song since then; too many memories. I don't know if its nice to know they're still there or not. Anyway, thank you for posting this song.

  • Ole Bob, one of the best that's ever been!

  • no need for a video the music is all you need thanks

  • Brilliant song from a brilliant artist, one of the all time greats.

  • On my first trip to Los Angeles years ago this song came on the radio on a Friday night as I was driving Sunset Boulevard from Santa Monica to Hollywood.

While I'd heard this song many times before, to hear it at FULL decibal IN Los Angeles heading toward Hollywood on a Friday night.....I will NEVER forget the "CHILLS".

  • Good song to listen to while blazing thru those back country roads of Iowa

  • this gets turned up in the car.

  • Great song to drive up the A470 on a blazing hot day...Sun riders on :-)

  • He saw that face and he lost all control... So true.

  • whats not to like about this song? 3 people that hate this song, justin bieber cause bobs voice is deeper, lil wayne because bobs album didnt suck and he wasnt in jail and drake because bob listens to eminem

  • Probably responsible for more speeding tickets than any other track

  • Bikers and bar's theme

  • see some old friends is good for the soul

  • "he knew right then he was too far from home"

  • brilliant

  • Three people loved this song so much it brought them to tears, and while crying they were unable to clearly discern between the 'Like' and 'Dislike' buttons.

  • This song is about the Hillside strangler, who terrorized the Los Angeles area about the time the song was written. Most radio stations in LA banned the song because of its subject. Just listen to the lyrics ("with a passion to kill".) The song, Bob Seger, and any one who likes the song are sick, sick, sick...

  • @0b1knob it says "with a passion that kills", doof. It takes one nutjob to ruin things for everyone. Go back under your rock.

  • @0b1knob: Knob ... apt name.

  • one of the best songs!!

  • +he Beau+iful loser~* is warKING~* & prac+ica~* +he KNigh+~* moves con Los Angeles~* to see some Old friends +he Holywood KNIgh+~+~*

  • @connaught2008 You aint never lied

  • @connaught2008 definitive Rock and Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great!

  • This song makes me feel bad for the guy. Although the song isn't about a real person, I still feel bad when I hear that "one morning he woke up alone." It sounds like this chick drove him insane.

  • This happened to me when I was a law student in L.A.

  • @uscbeatnd

    ROCK!!!

  • It`s his best song!!!

  • i like night moves better.

  • why is this not on itunes......????

  • Walmart owns exclusive rights to hist greatest hits singles for retail purposes, same with Garth Brooks.

  • man, Walmart is getting really annoying.

  • @Speegs23 this is probably why i can't get hold of any of his brilliant songs on i tunes , thanks for the info

  • True classic, just like all the 70's 80's songs by the great rock bands.

  • Well, it turns out turning to a random radio station when you're sick can really help you find a treasure :D

  • Im curious about something. The part which goes, "night after night and day after day it went on, then one morning he woke up alone" is a bit ambiguous. Did they sleep together, and she walked out on him while he was asleep? That is a VERY low thing to do.

  • That's what happens when you spend all night staring down at the lights of L.A.....lol

  • A true rock classic....passionate, sentimental, emotional and no doubt we can all relate this song to a time in our lives......this is my new pre surf chooooon! I dare you not to love it!

  • Surfs up bro! Live it up!

  • I cannot believe when this was released it never made the US/Canada top 10 and didnt even break into the UK top 40.. Badddd people, you all should of brought it, i did..

  • my 12 year old plays this on drums and I sing along (badly) well not to bad, it is a great song and I'm so glad all my kids have learned to enjoy all kinds of music

  • one that'll never let you down.

  • oh bobby bobby bobby

  • This ballad is brilliant.

If the United States had a rocker in the '70s who sang for all that was USA - but REALLY USA - it was Bob Seger.

    Thanks for the upload.

  • thats actually a simple beat...

    eat your greens :)

  • one of thee most worthy followings that Bruce Springsteen and John Foggarty ever had...........not to mention Van the Man. He developed his own particlar style........interestingly off key..........loved it, still do

  • wish i had just the drum beat to this..thats it

  • play guitar hero world tour LoL there you can play the drums (very dificult for me)

  • ditto....solid quick drum beat...been trying to work it out

  • an easy drum rhythm..i played this as cover with my band years ago.

  • outstanding,.....

  • On of the Greatest Songs of All Time. Period.

  • Well said my man!

  • false.

  • @nagboy92

This music makes you want to party!!

  • @nagboy92

technicly(im not good on spelling) thats three periods

  • if ur talkin bout bob seger fuck u

  • im sorry that was uncalled for

  • lol!

  • My band did this tune. That drum lick is difficult for a lot of drummers to pick up on. I didn't have too much trouble with it; left-handed had something to do with it I think. Also hard to keep that one, constant lick going without wanting to do a run-down or break.

    Great, great classic!

  • wow you are amazing! it's not a difficult lick just hard to stay disiplined

  • good God! I'm only a flute player, but I KNOW I have no rythm, to be able to play that constantly!! X-D you have my respect.

  • ok???

  • This was a Time when you had to Eat Bread to Survive and push your way through . The Rush I feel when I hear this song is incredible, for as I Stated, I was the Mid-Western Boy living on Hollywood and Ivar at the Top of the Hill, under the Hollywoodland Sign .

  • This song was Wrote just for me .

  • Classic!

  • this me and my girlfriend's favorite song.

  • 0:53 whats that noise lol

  • Great song. Thanks for posting!

  • Great song, but what's with the static caption??

    Isn't this a video site??

Oh well, at least you didn't use up much of my bandwidth by providing one of those cheesy closeups of a Technics SL1200 playing an LP.

  • Lotsa great memories and more to come.

The Bad Guys are gone come January!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if there is ever a longer 5 minutes of my life than the first time i heard this song, it'd be immortality. i really wish i had been around back then.

  • sweet for gh

  • this song is in Guitar Hero World Tour

  • yeah!
