Tman8077: not sure about the lower, but the upper looks to be 88 8800 080. She could also be using a standard preset which is build into the organ. My guess would be the Ab or A preset key, if that helps any.
Playing the melody with the interior fingers on the right hand while the pinky holds a high harmony-hmm, there's a trick I'm going to have to try.
Someone should rig you a knee switch or something for the Lowry speaker, so your left hand could stay completely involved with the music. I wish for that every time I find myself playing a Hammond.
Up to y'all's usual standards (which, being interpreted, means GR-R-REAT!!).
oh its in a dif key than i learned it :) but it sounds good. i cant read music by the way. ive no patience to try. i just love playing great songs like this. good job!
So smooth....so natural...so inspiring! I just have a hard time being smooth like you. Practice I guess. Of course I'm old and not as good either! lol I can listen to your videos for hours...and sometimes do!
Keep it up!! You play wonderful, and I love it. I play very much like this on the Hammond also!! This is the great sound that I was raised with and love so much.
you go girl... i play as well in 21 and go to a pentecostal church... and this my fav song... you had me shouting in my room dancing lol.. its good to know there are still churches out there playing the good stuff...
It's Eb but there is no bridge; she goes to the III chord at the start of the chorus. She also does something different from what I do at about .54 and 2.18 but it sounds good.
It is actually a Hammond A-100. These were the self-contained models that had built in speakers. This on has a Leslie 122 hooked to it, though. Mechanically speaking, though, it has the same internals(tonewheel generator) as the Hammond B-3 and C-3.
Hey, Bryan, from Memphis, TN here!!! I love this song!! I have played it a million times on piano in my life & when I was going to church back in TEXAS!!! Great job!!!!
Now that is playing

Just wondering what key this is played in. By the way the chords are looking, it is Bb, but I am not 100% sure.
joshbrinson 4 years ago
Looks like Eb to me... bridge in G. I think. But I may be 'projecting' since that's how *I* play it, too... (tho' not 1/2 as good as Sis. Jen.)

Is that a B3 Hammond model? I just love that jazzy sound of those old Hammonds! They are the ideal instrument for the good old gospel songs.
Excellent job!

This is very good but the drums needs to go. The drums are over powering the beautiful organ music.
