Their beggining albums were punk, then they evolved to a more hardcore punk (faster and harder) and this is even faster, more close to thrash metal, a mix between hardcore punk and thrash metal can be called crossover thrash or thrashcore if gutural vocals are usded, so I would call it crossover thrash. ANYWAY, just enjoy the music, the genres should be used ONLY to find similar bands of those you like instead of setting tags in all bands and trying to make list about which are the best or worst

i didn't said that is exactly thrash... but that in hardcore punk you can hear almost the same sound of thrash metal and reverse... obviously the earlier hardcore (that metallica, slayer and other used to listen to when they were boys) wasn't this heavy... i think that the both genres influenced each other during time...
