@head85 He did give the alternative suggestion. He said that virtually every fossil we ever find is an 'intermediate' - I think it was in Part 1 of 4 of this talk. As for an explanation for 'missing intermediate species' we have a problem. Once you find one you have two gaps to fill - who knows if we'll ever be lucky enough to find them? Further, the fossilisation of every species and 'intermediate' is not guaranteed. That audience probably understood this already.

I had a look at the atlas of creation, and the evidence seems quite convincing for evolution not occurring, despite the tiny discrepancies Dawkins demonstrates. There also seem to be a lot of proven evolution hoaxes and mistakes, which add credence to Yahya's beliefs. As for the fishing hook, hardly a big issue, perhaps he couldn't get another picture of a caddis fly. The crinoid may have been a genuine error, but the remainder of all the other fossils shown are staggering. Someone's wrong.

does that mean he wants to say the premise is wrong and all fossils are different ? or no fossil for the current species exists but rather different extinct ones ? or perhaps the premise is correct but it does not disprove evolution ??

well ultimately, the entire problem with humans is this strange inability to seperate what we HOPE is true and how it has absolutely no bearing on what ACTUALLY is true.

given a choice between:

the hurtful truth

many, if not most humans will accept the former as being real.

There were not only 3 religions but tens or maybe hundreds. Because wherever man lived he was ought to worship his creator. When we say religion, i'm not talking of pagan ones nor idols or fire, I'm talking of the stage before these, they were all worshipping God that islam, judaism and christianity were about, but people are always ought to change, people created idols because they thought it linked them to God, then forgot God over time and worshipped those idols instead.

On answering your question, why three religions and not one, it's because people were falling off every time a prophet was sent to them, and Adam was the first one. You see how there are several human races and how the earth itself has changed millions of years ago, so how do you expect people to hold on to a religion? therefore they needed a refreshment every time, the latest refreshment was islam.

If marriage is truly so sacred, then why are there divorces? Divorces can actually save the lives of those within the marriage. My parents got divorced when I was 11 years old. I was sad about, but today I thank them for doing it because I wouldn't be who I am today with all that I have learned from it.
