@VirgilMastercard It is actually a much more fun game in my opinion. Although technically wise both games have their own art and graphics style. I prefer Two Worlds stereotypical Old Europe bright style over the dark and gloomy style of Skyrim, makes it seem a lot more fun. Their are also places in Two Worlds with it's own cultural design that it got inspiration from places like Africa or China. Skyrim is just a place in a world with one small bunch of monsters and culture.
For some reason I always find myself picking up 3rd person titles like fable and red dead redemption instead of fps anymore. Fallout was fun for a while and so were the cod's, but I've never really been a fan of the Elder Scrolls. For those who like more of a 3rd person fantasy rpg with a lord of the rings feeling to it and a huge open world divided into islands, this game is for you.
@HellBeastly skyrim is fun but the map is small and the spells are like the same but less fun but its okay the fighting is okay as for the bow just sucks but looks like al give this game a try i played the first one and didn't mind I had fun with it lol
@killerweman1 the bow in skyrim is fucking amazing the bow isn't the problem, it's just your horrible aiming skills that is the problem. You probally threw all your skill points into some faggot ass shit like block or heavy armor and nothing into bow and then you rage about how the bow sucks? put your stamina at atleast 200 and then get the slow motion perk for the bow and that shit is amazing.
The people that hate the first one and especially the second, didn't play these games more than an hour at most because once you get past the first few clumsy hours, these games really open up and begin to shine. Yes, that applies to the first Two Worlds as well.
Just bought the PC collectors edition on Amazon for $20. Can't go wrong at that price. Having a lot of fun with the game so far. Man it is a beautiful game too. Shame the title is so ridiculously dumb. Say it with me: Two Worlds Two. So dumb... good game though
One more thing. This review bashes TW2 for glitches that don't even appear on the PC version, but their Skyrim review doesn't say a word about the tons of glitches that game has, which are worse than anything that's wrong with TW2.

warriors have so many armor's but archer has only leather, so after lvl 18 no new armor's, there are other light armor's to but cant use a bow whit this armor's, like elven light & skrimish, that sucks, if it is light armor it shod be archer armor like leather, leather looks ugly, i had a look in shops whit my other char lvl 26 no armor's for archer, my archer is lvl 18, so archer is stuck whit armor what he gets lvl 18- & hes stuck whit it until the end of the game,

The first Two Worlds game was incredibly mediocre. But they've made a lot of improvements to Two Worlds 2, so I'm definitely picking this one up. If you like fantasy rpgs like I do, you might also try out Divinity 2: Ego Draconis; another decent game with a great story, etc. Yes, we're all waiting for Skyrim. But don't let that cause you to you miss out on some great stories in these other small market games.
My first 2 hours on oblivion I was like: this suuuaacks, then after a week I started playing again and now it's in my top 3 of fav games...same for this one guys!
To tell you guys the truth, I acctually liked the first Two Worlds you just had to stick to it long enough and all of the graphical Issues would become less annoying and the story did suck haha, but it was the crafting system that really got me into the game...killing enemies to loot them to make a better weapon is fun as hell, and I like that there is a Monster Hunter like Potion system in it, shure it WAS bad, but it had a lot of great features

can someone help me? i just got, i'm at the first village Bayan, and i have no idea how to do some beginner quests, i did all the quests on that little island and teleported, know all the quests are extremely difficult, can someone guide me through?
i know what you mean by a sudden difficulty spike. These are the main tips i can give for the beginning. DONT FIGHT ANTS. Do the horse races, find or buy a weapon, draw enemies away from the pack until you get armor to take multiple hits.

@limitsora69 hmmm. I suppose just use some potions to buff your stats and try to avoid his attacks, but hes not too tough and you'll get some cool loot.
I played the demo for the first Two Worlds, and was pretty bummed out. The sword swishing sounded like someone making the sound with their mouth, and the grunts and stuff the enemies would make sounded terrible and like a 10 year old was making them. The gameplay in the first one, along with the shitty sound and graphics, led me to think the game sucked. I am kinda scared to spend money on the second one without playing a demo of it first to make sure its better than the original.
Flame me if you want - but Two Worlds and Two Worlds II on PC are fantastic!!!!! Real old school, deep, cRPG's, with the right amount of humour, that is hard all the way up to about level 50 with more stats than you can throw a stick at and magic and crafting to die for!!
My fiance bought me this game last week, wasn't really sure if I'd like it. The first few hours were brutal, but after that the game got really fun. I'm playing on ps3 cause I don't have a PC that can run this, and it lags a lot in major cities, but I'm really enjoying it thus far. I'm sure it runs much better on PC. I'd reccomend it. Just don't get discouraged in the beginning. It gets better.

this game sucks....i played for more then an hour....i got to the orcs castle where my quarters are, talked to the blacksmith...shot the shit for a min and decided i had enough. this game is way to confusing, spell books, skill, too many weapons, to many options really....and theyre hard and time consuming to get to! dont like the way you fight either, the assinations are tight but thats about it. 1-10.....it gets a 3.
Wow. Guys, try playing this game for more than 1 hour. Everyone who says it's terrible stopped playing because the beginning is boring. The more time you put into this amazing game, the more you get out of it. I've put 50+ hours in and I'm still loving it. The craft system is godly, so is the alchemy and magic. Yeah it has it's flaws, but not every game can be an oblivion. Actually, I enjoy it more than oblivion.
@B00MH0 Let me ammend that comment, though, by saying it's nowhere near perfect. The motion blur is annoying. The voice acting is the worst I've heard since the first Resident Evil. The horseback riding is even worse than Oblivion. The story is generic and forced, and the cutscenes are not very impressive at all. But it's fun, and the graphics are definitely better than Oblivion. Therefore, Oblivion is TECHNICALLY better aside from graphics, but both are very good games that I enjoy a lot.

I hate that people compare this to Oblivion, Skyrim, WoW or even Fallout.
This is just a simple, flawed but yet satisfyingly complex hack and slash RPG.
It's magic system is the best YET, I mean out of ANY game out there.
The fact that you have to read actual books to learn things (you'll need to apply that knowledge in a real way, play it and you'll see what I mean).
It's a fun game to play but that's all it is, fun. And that's what games are about, fun!

can someone help me? i just got, i'm at the first village Bayan, and i have no idea how to do some beginner quests, i did all the quests on that little island and teleported, know all the quests are extremely difficult, can someone guide me through?

i know what you mean by a sudden difficulty spike. These are the main tips i can give for the beginning. DONT FIGHT ANTS. Do the horse races, find or buy a weapon, draw enemies away from the pack until you get armor to take multiple hits.

@CommonFable hehe 3 days to late XD, kinda figured that out, now level..... 34? and can do 1000 damage with my mage class, trying to get to level 45 from a weapon i got from a guardian i killed, since i was bored.
the Scavenger area freaks me out though, so im trying to finish most quests in Ashos till i feel suited for it. well i am already suited but i kinda want a advantage XD

@limitsora69 hmmm. I suppose just use some potions to buff your stats and try to avoid his attacks, but hes not too tough and you'll get some cool loot.

I played the demo for the first Two Worlds, and was pretty bummed out. The sword swishing sounded like someone making the sound with their mouth, and the grunts and stuff the enemies would make sounded terrible and like a 10 year old was making them. The gameplay in the first one, along with the shitty sound and graphics, led me to think the game sucked. I am kinda scared to spend money on the second one without playing a demo of it first to make sure its better than the original.

Flame me if you want - but Two Worlds and Two Worlds II on PC are fantastic!!!!! Real old school, deep, cRPG's, with the right amount of humour, that is hard all the way up to about level 50 with more stats than you can throw a stick at and magic and crafting to die for!!

My fiance bought me this game last week, wasn't really sure if I'd like it. The first few hours were brutal, but after that the game got really fun. I'm playing on ps3 cause I don't have a PC that can run this, and it lags a lot in major cities, but I'm really enjoying it thus far. I'm sure it runs much better on PC. I'd reccomend it. Just don't get discouraged in the beginning. It gets better.

this game sucks....i played for more then an hour....i got to the orcs castle where my quarters are, talked to the blacksmith...shot the shit for a min and decided i had enough. this game is way to confusing, spell books, skill, too many weapons, to many options really....and theyre hard and time consuming to get to! dont like the way you fight either, the assinations are tight but thats about it. 1-10.....it gets a 3.

Wow. Guys, try playing this game for more than 1 hour. Everyone who says it's terrible stopped playing because the beginning is boring. The more time you put into this amazing game, the more you get out of it. I've put 50+ hours in and I'm still loving it. The craft system is godly, so is the alchemy and magic. Yeah it has it's flaws, but not every game can be an oblivion. Actually, I enjoy it more than oblivion.

@B00MH0 Let me ammend that comment, though, by saying it's nowhere near perfect. The motion blur is annoying. The voice acting is the worst I've heard since the first Resident Evil. The horseback riding is even worse than Oblivion. The story is generic and forced, and the cutscenes are not very impressive at all. But it's fun, and the graphics are definitely better than Oblivion. Therefore, Oblivion is TECHNICALLY better aside from graphics, but both are very good games that I enjoy a lot.

I stopped playing right away because the game didn't appeal to me anymore after that and haven't picked it up again ever since... Gamespot - not every game can be the pinnacle! That's why there are charts and scores! I suppose to you, if the No.1 game is 9.4 a 9.3 game can be picked to death, like you did with this and all other games from smaller companies! Not everyone has $30 million to spend on development, and you penalise publishers for not having the money of the biggest multinational companies!
