It was one of the few games to have God Vs t Satan. The ending to the game, where civilization gets more modern and forgets God exists is no different then today. I think that part of the game is what angered a lot of US censors. But Dante's Inferno plot is still very much in tact too.

Anything after that, to much time involved sadly.

I agree completely, but a kid shouldnt see the word "damn' either, the swearer isnt being accountable for their actions.(You mentioned this before I believe) Hey and thanks for being cool about it kwing, just an observation as I know you're a game review, you care about the reviewing not the swearing, so I dont want to come across as nit picky.
You're right people need to keep children in mind. You didn't come across nit picky. But I only remove comments with excessive swearing, or comments where users are being rude to me or other users. I can't police everything, and I like to give people freedom to express themselves, but I don't count swearing or talking down to some one as "constructive criticism" that person is just being rude and I deal with them quickly. THanks for listening to my rules and understanding them.
I can explain, my reviews 2007-2010 used scores. Although Retro Modays,GameZone and Gotgame. No scores. Season 4 of my show is scores, but they will be retired. I like not giving games scores anymore, its much less flame wars and people seem to like the reviews better this way now.
I may be one of the few, but I actually love games where you have to build a civilization. You get some creativity in some games. To me, theses kind of games are my third favorite games. Do you enjoy the 3D castlevania games on the ps2 or judgment on the wii?
Heh, the sim parts were always my favorite, I loved watching the town grow and using the miracles to help out. I was always frustrated when I had to do another action stage to continue, because I sucked at them as a kid, but as I got older (and I replay my SNES games very often) I became able to get through them much more easily and now I appreciate the entire game.
No worries, yeah give the game a try. I need to do a top 10, but I don't have the ability to do graphics and such. This Dr who intro was made by a pro..next me. My retro classics opening is the best I can do....
It is an awesome game and you need to keep an open mind about this game. Its still amazing. Fyi some of the best video games ever is Good Vs Evil. I strongly suggest you play it, i think you will like it.
I've tried so many times to get into this game but was always turned off by the sim portions of the game. I think I'll try to play it again because I'm getting pretty frustrated up with the negativity against religion in games lately. Actraiser looks to be just what the doctor ordered. Thanks, Kwing. :)

I've tried so many times to get into this game but was always turned off by the sim portions of the game.
