im looking at the keepers as a replacement for the nomads. would you suggest i get them? i would ski the 178 with hammer heads, im 6' and 140.. ive been trying to find a tele review on the ski. i live in NH and this would be my pow ski. let me know what you think.
so im thinking of get the keeper. im a tele guy as you. looks like like to butter( or what icelantic calls smearing ) do they carve? do they turn fast ? what size are yous ? sorry for all the ?'s just really going out on a limb getting skis this year. great video
@leifgsxr So the Keeper is great for a powder tele ski. I wouldn't be using it in demanding terrain as a tele ski, and that's because of the early rise tail. I'm 6' 180 lbs and ride the 178's. I don't butter a lot of my turns, I tend to carve my turns even in powder, but it depends on the skiing I'm doing. This video was on consoladated snow with 2 inches of surface hoar definitely isn't a true representation of how I ski them. They definitely turn fast, are ok on hard pack. Fun ski really
Well done! It is amazing what a day of skiing does to cleanse the soul and bring back perspective. I need to explore Basin way more. Thanks for sharing your private day.
awesome , whenever I'm feeling down I just go ski
