I've actually started playing and experimenting with makeup since the age of 12 (17 yrs ago) because I have many females in my family and I would like to save them money when they go to events. If I want to invest a lot of time into their makeup and hair, it would usually take 30 mins to an hour, but if we're in a hurry, I can do makeup in 5 mins.

Happy Early B-day! Love this look just like all the others. I've heard some so-so things on SheLaq too. It's too expensive IMHO.
I use Ben Nye Liquiset, a much cheaper alternative. I use it to make eyeliner out of loose eye shadow. I heard Shelaq can be used under/over shadow but it makes it really hard to blend and give a shiny(?) look. Also, Shelaq and Ben Nye will ruin your brushes, so make sure to use cheapies ;)
Oh no! I've used it with my #266 brush, but i did made sure to wash my brush right after that. Yes, I really regret getting it...wish I knew of Ben Nye Liquiset before. Thank you so much for your b'day wish and comments seiyaodango!

their eye shadows are actually decent too. If you put it on top of a shadestick or paint or even just wet they'll show up unlike the gazillion other drugstore brands. Maybe that shelac thing will make it last a loooong time.

Thanks candiecc! LOL! It's the facial expressions that helps makes the video fun to watch and I'm sure that yours would be perfect. I don't really notice my facial expressions when I'm applying but I do make it a habit for myself not to open my mouth or anything like that when applying e/s.

Happy Early B-day! Love this look just like all the others. I've heard some so-so things on SheLaq too. It's too expensive IMHO.
I use Ben Nye Liquiset, a much cheaper alternative. I use it to make eyeliner out of loose eye shadow. I heard Shelaq can be used under/over shadow but it makes it really hard to blend and give a shiny(?) look. Also, Shelaq and Ben Nye will ruin your brushes, so make sure to use cheapies ;)

Oh no! I've used it with my #266 brush, but i did made sure to wash my brush right after that. Yes, I really regret getting it...wish I knew of Ben Nye Liquiset before. Thank you so much for your b'day wish and comments seiyaodango!

btw I love milani eyeliners, they are so smooth. they get off easily but they go on very nice and soft.

Oh good b/c I got the gold one and white one...haven't tried the white yet and I also bought an "Autumn" 4 colors palette which I haven't used either. How are their e/s?

their eye shadows are actually decent too. If you put it on top of a shadestick or paint or even just wet they'll show up unlike the gazillion other drugstore brands. Maybe that shelac thing will make it last a loooong time.

Oohh great! I'm glad I got it then...do you know anything 'bout SheLaq? That was my first time using it and the reason why I got it was b/c Pursebuzz recommended it...does anybody else knows how to use it? I surely need some advice on that...so far, I feel like it's such a waste of my money.
