Im 27 and i love listening 2 music like dis defeats the purpose of getting hi but you gota b able to expand ya mind if you like lil b lil wayne or da other bullshit dat comes on radio u wouldnt understand
This is so cool! Saddening that our youth today is not encouraged to listen to appreciate musical works of art like this. Also frustrating is that you seldom hear neat material like this played on the smooth jazz stations. Jazz fans should expose their children to jazz at a very young age before the trappings of hip-hop and metal take their toll on their mind and moods.
The very first time I heard this was on PBS, it was the signing off music. I search frantically for this song and finally found it. This is my favorite song by L.L.Smith
Lonnie Liston Smith is truly one of the great wonders of the world. I don't know much of his background but I always felt if there was a soul mate for me HE would be that person. Thanks for posting.
I'm thankful to all of you for not only bringing back forgotten or lost musical gems but also introducing me to some very notable artists,,,,,,,,thanx again
One of the reasons why I created my channel was to make lost music available people like you who were searching for it and also to allow people to share my musical taste and experience.
I am delighted that I have enabled you to find the music you love. I too have had a similar experience in finding lost tunes.
Thank you for posting Lonnie Liston Smith "The Love I See In Your Eyes", I heard this in Miami, Florida, on Love 94. I have for quite some time have tried to retrieve this tune, no one seemed to remember it. It is the most gorgeous piece of music to listen to. When I spotted it on "YouTube" I almost flipped.

@ACLTony Yeah, Agreed. Listen to Lisa Shaw's version of Renaiscence - at least some newer artists are taking note.
