sweet!! I am headed to skool again down there in houston, n e 1 know how ocean corp is compared with the skool in jax? I went through NDSTC in panama back in 97 but due to my failure to follow basic navy rules, the navy kicked me out before I could get diving, and I let the dream go. But now moving to houston and needing work im gonna go through skool again is there better job market now? I been welding and mechanicing heavy equipment last ten years so i want to do it underwater im bored.
ocean corp is better then school in jax, works slow offshore now....time your school for it to be done in march or april thats when work season starts for us...from november to april work is always slow and far between...you'll be a tender for almost 2 yrs before get to break out as a diver..best of luck to ya
My bf also come from us,he is a diver too...but we loss contact 1 month ago cos he running the casing now...can u tell me more about the diver life ?could your get bck to offshore often ?it a high risk work?usually waht the diver to in the underwater ?
