Dom Rep is just not in the same league as USA. This was not a surprise. Their offside trap clearly doesn't usually face as explosive an attack as USA's, and the poor goalie's confidence was probably shot early. Guatemala will be tougher, but USA should (SHOULD, mind you) not have any problems winning.
I know the ladies of the USWNT are really good, but even still, the keeper for Dominican Republic was just awful. The team didn't look to be very good either. It almost looked like USA were playing on an empty pitch running mock plays.
@franky21161 totally agree, as a team they are still developing and will need a lot of work, but to play for your country i cant believe there is not a better goalie than that! even technically her diving and positioning in the goal is way off. I do feel sorry for her though, ive played games myself where the attack just keeps coming and eventually you just get so tired. its tough.
