A couple of girders, impacted by (what I assume was) an overspeeding large passenger jet, filled with fuel and passengers and luggage (talking about weight here), would stand no chance. Ran out of space. Where did the molten metal come from? The stuff that pours out of the south tower just prior to collapse. Aluminium does not glow in ambient light until about 1600*C which is roughly 3000*F. And aluminium does not mix with burning wood or carpet. They have different densities and don't mix. I'm not sure many jumped - I think they tried to get as far outside the windows as possible in order to breathe. Then as the building got hotter their hands were involuntarily forced to let go, and they fell.

If you look well you see that the first tower to fall. I believe is the South tower which has no antenna. You see that this tower is not collapsing straight down. The top falls to the side and then under the enormous presures the rest of the floors do collapse straight. So it is not even true that it came down straight. Look at all the footage here and you see it.
They were breaking the windows to get air from all the smoke in the offices. Yes it was hot but think of how hot it would have to get to weaken steel. If it was so hot to weaken steel how could any human stand in an open window for that long of a time above the floors where the plane hit as the heat raises. They would have been cooked alive from the heat and yet we can watch footage of them alive in the open windows. People would have been dead in mins at temps hot enought to weaken steel.

@kyle887923 You are partially right. Fireproofing foam was removed at impact, but again the structural steel didnt melt. The floor trusses were heated by the fires and therefore sagged, bowing the perimeter columns in till they eventually snapped. Videos of this inward bowing are all over youtube. The loader of this video here intentially leaves out the fact that although the jet fuel was gone, fires from carpeting, wood, plastic, paper and bodies were still going.

The impact points would be the FIRST to burn out. The fires continued to rage along the walls where all the debris piled up (the walls opposite and adjacent to the point of impact). Both are refined kerosine, both will burn at around 1800 degrees fahrenheit when they are in a controlled setup with compressed oxygen (not air). @studebakerlvr The amount of people who jumped after the jet fuel burnt off was also massively lower, suggesting that the temperature had dropped. This is also seen in the videos where we see a massive reduction in visible flames after the fuel had burnt off and even people standing in the impact whole of WTC 1.
I haven't seen anything that suggests an inferno. People even escaped from above and in the impact zone. Does this mean people (70% water) can stand heat better than steel?
@tomwils92 So what if the jet fuel was burnt off? EVERYTHING ELSE was burning: wood, plastic, carpeting, remnants of the plane, bodies, clothing, paper. These fires continued to burn all the way thru collapse. There is no other explanation for the bowed in columns. The fact that people were huddled in areas and floors where the heat dissipated is irrelevent. To my knowledge, no one survived above the impact zone on WTC 1, only WTC 2 (not entirely sure on that last point)
@studebakerlvr I'm not saying the fire had gone, but the jet fuel fires were the worst. When it set alight to the wood, carpets etc, it did what all fires do, consume the burnable fuel and move on. Which again explains why visible fire drops dramatically. Steel regains it's strength when it cools down. Fire fighters also went on record (like said in this video) and release a tape recording how the fires were nearly out in WTC2 and that they could knock them out with 2 lines. Why would they lie?

There are probably more quotes from firemen saying the fires were still raging, yet those are ignored. Of course, specifics are eliminated. Who said it, when did they say it, where were they, etc. Again, look at the video. smoke and fires abound and the columns are bowed. What did that, magic?
@studebakerlvr I have looked at both sides of the story. I don't believe the official story because it doesn't make sense and there are far too many loop holes. A lot of the conspiracy theories make sense to me as an engineer and having studied physics at college. But I'm still not 100% sure. How fast, symmetrically and how they collapsed completely, building 7, they won't release quality footage of the pentagon and the size of the hole the "plane" made is enough for me to be extremely skeptic.

Ran out of space. Where did the molten metal come from? The stuff that pours out of the south tower just prior to collapse. Aluminium does not glow in ambient light until about 1600*C which is roughly 3000*F. And aluminium does not mix with burning wood or carpet. They have different densities and don't mix. It has been proven in practical experiments.

No one, not you, me, or God knows for sure what was pouring out, but most experts agree it's a mix of organic and inorganic materials such as aluminum, plastic, wood, plaster, paper. Again, who cares? It's totally unrelated to the initial and subsequent collapse. For the last time, NIST deals with events leading up to initial collapse, NOT AFTER!

Steel melts at 1525C, and although jet fuel burns at only 825C, it doesn’t have to burn hot enough to melt to cause a building to collapse, since at 648C steel loses 50% of its strength and will twist and bend and lose all structural strength. itwastyped. com = the actual truth

It is all a conspiracy. Here's what happened: Barack Obama is a robot planted her by Russian spies who were hired by the Gieco Gekko to go back in time to Bush's administration and crash the planes into the tower. But the planes were not actually planes. They were paper planes made out of FBI cardboard obtained from old boxes of tampons. Their original target was a Pizza Hut in South Bend Indiana but they made a big mistake.

I'm not sure many jumped - I think they tried to get as far outside the windows as possible in order to breathe. Then as the building got hotter their hands were involuntarily forced to let go, and they fell.
I am dismayed that some people think it was morally wrong to jump (good grief? how cruel these people must be to pass judgement in that way!!!). But actually I don't think most did. On the contrary, they were among the ones most determined to stay alive as long as possible.

If you look well you see that the first tower to fall. I believe is the South tower which has no antenna. You see that this tower is not collapsing straight down. The top falls to the side and then under the enormous presures the rest of the floors do collapse straight. So it is not even true that it came down straight. They were breaking the windows to get air from all the smoke in the offices. Yes it was hot but think of how hot it would have to get to weaken steel. If it was so hot to weaken steel how could any human stand in an open window for that long of a time above the floors where the plane hit as the heat raises. They would have been cooked alive from the heat and yet we can watch footage of them alive in the open windows. People would have been dead in mins at temps hot enought to weaken steel.

@kyle887923 You are partially right. Fireproofing foam was removed at impact, but again the structural steel didnt melt. The floor trusses were heated by the fires and therefore sagged, bowing the perimeter columns in till they eventually snapped. Videos of this inward bowing are all over youtube. The loader of this video here intentially leaves out the fact that although the jet fuel was gone, fires from carpeting, wood, plastic, paper and bodies were still going.

@kyle887923 ALSO, this clip above implies that since there were people at the points of imapct, the fires were nearly out and not enuff heat generated to weaken the steel. This is a false premise. The impact points would be the FIRST to burn out. The fires continued to rage along the walls where all the debris piled up (the walls opposite and adjacent to the point of impact). The loader of this video conveniently leaves this fact out.

Both are refined kerosine, both will burn at around 1800 degrees fahrenheit when they are in a controlled setup with compressed oxygen (not air). Now we all know that when the planes hit they spilled all the fuel out into the floors and walls. When kerosine or jet fuel is burned unaided by compressed oxygen it can only muster

@Chevymonster203 around 500 to 750 degrees farenheit now you have to realize that reular mild steel has a melting point of 2700 degrees. IN order for it to lose half of it's strength it would have to be subjected to around 1300 degrees. We all know that smoke can hurt a flames petentional and there was plenty of it. Now with tha being said the most that kerosine could have burned at was around 800 degrees no nearly enough to weaken even mild steel. So learn you facts

@studebakerlvr The amount of people who jumped after the jet fuel burnt off was also massively lower, suggesting that the temperature had dropped. This is also seen in the videos where we see a massive reduction in visible flames after the fuel had burnt off and even people standing in the impact whole of WTC 1.
I haven't seen anything that suggests an inferno. People even escaped from above and in the impact zone. Does this mean people (70% water) can stand heat better than steel?

@tomwils92 So what if the jet fuel was burnt off? EVERYTHING ELSE was burning: wood, plastic, carpeting, remnants of the plane, bodies, clothing, paper. These fires continued to burn all the way thru collapse. There is no other explanation for the bowed in columns. The fact that people were huddled in areas and floors where the heat dissipated is irrelevent. To my knowledge, no one survived above the impact zone on WTC 1, only WTC 2 (not entirely sure on that last point)

@studebakerlvr I'm not saying the fire had gone, but the jet fuel fires were the worst. When it set alight to the wood, carpets etc, it did what all fires do, consume the burnable fuel and move on. Which again explains why visible fire drops dramatically. Steel regains it's strength when it cools down. Fire fighters also went on record (like said in this video) and release a tape recording how the fires were nearly out in WTC2 and that they could knock them out with 2 lines. Why would they lie?

@studebakerlvr I have looked at both sides of the story. I don't believe the official story because it doesn't make sense and there are far too many loop holes. A lot of the conspiracy theories make sense to me as an engineer and having studied physics at college. But I'm still not 100% sure. How fast, symmetrically and how they collapsed completely, building 7, they won't release quality footage of the pentagon and the size of the hole the "plane" made is enough for me to be extremely skeptic.
