I don't think the writing style of Live Through This sounds anything like Nirvana's writing. Courtney's music uses a lot of metaphors and symbolism. Kurt's music was always more direct and easier for most people to relate to. They were both talented musicians, but I think their styles are totally different.

ever check a fucking lyric book...all hole lyrics are written by courtney. she makes no qualms on working on MUSICAL ARRANGEMENTS with other musical artists so neither should you. alot of other pop stars do it and most of it's not half as good as this so why give her shit for that?

Courtney, at least live, always changes the lyrics. If you listen to any live albums she does change the words. In fact on kittyradio I asked to everybody "When you sing along, do you sing the album lyrics or the alternative lyrics"?

Not sure if you can call this a "happier" version, but yeah - it seems like CLove revisited the ideas in Sugar Coma. "I cannot help your suffering / I am not here to ease your pain / I'm never coming back ..." is pretty bitter.

very true.... hole were bigger than nirvana yrs ago, shame nobody uses the net to understand the knowledge it holds. although i remember it all days before anyone had the net and hole are legends.. however i do miss the earlier music.. but the older you get the harshness dries up but she is still the same .
