  • Whatever Toots touches or collaborates on becomes timeless musical genius. He is the greatest!

  • nice...

  • I have always enjoyed Stephane...especially his 'Uptown Dance' album....now this is the first time I've heard him perform with Toots..?..What a team!!

Both are tremendous musicials, musical story tellers and instrumental poets.

    Thanks for posting!!!

    I didn't know this exhisted.

  • I first heard Toots on record playing guitar with the George Shearing Quintet of the mid 1950's. There's a video of them on YouTube. I caught up with him again 30 odd years later playing "Velas" on harmonica with Quincey Jones on "The Dude", also on YouTube, check it out, These Jazz guys certainly can cross bridges.

  • Just wonderful....

  • I didn't know Toots and Grapelli played together ... ... It so makes sense .....ha ha ha !...

I had them both in my virtual '' all star band ''

     Thanks for posting .......

  • If I'm right, this might be great Django Reinhardt on Guitar!

  • @ironmike58

No, Toots came to fame to late for this: Django was already dead. But Toots was first know as Django inspired guitarist. Maybe he his the one who plays the acoustic guitar solo on this piece.
