the rippling is the vibration on the lens mate, i have the same thing using a mini dv cam strapped to the bike, nothing much u can do about it, also happens if u stick it in a waterproof pouch, however much they say there for use for stuff like this not many will have completely fixed lenses

Good video , I found ripping on my video using MD80 but was thinking of buying Muvi .
Have u give it a go in dull or low light or even dark as my MD80 is not to good on that ?
