@thepodcastersstudio since you asked, perhaps a tutorial on how to promote your podcast through a blog: how to add 'subsribe in itunes' buttons, rss feed button, making cover art for itunes, things like that would be very useful to me :)
@Cadmuss well I do have over fifty hours of content over at The Podcasters Studio . com;) I cover all topics like that. If you want those types of buttons on your site you simply need to put in a widget on your site. Create any image you want and make it a hyperlink. Look at episode 21 where I include in the shownotes, the code you need to make an image clickable. I'll try to work on a video about making a clickable image as well. Thanks.
absolutely brilliant .. i looked everywhere on the internet and found garbage after garbage which i couldnt get my head around.. you saved the day!! well done and looking forward to all your tutorials : )
@varesy Thank you for the kind words, I'm really happy this tutorial helped you. I don't do as many video tutorials as I do audio podcasts so you should check out the show at ThePodcastersStudio . com for many more tips and advice as well as a forum where you can get plenty of help from everyone in the community which is a bunch of experienced podcasters. Take care, hope to see you around.
@buenojennifer89 No. The setup is a one time deal. You would create a new blog post and make sure that new posst that are podcasts are put into the podcast category. The podcast category that you created from this tutorial should only contain posts that have an actual podcast episode (i.e. An audio or video file).
Just want to thank you for the very thorough tutorial/explanation. Every tutorial I've seen on the subject, thus far, has been very abridged. Very helpful!!
@MrFilmComposer@MrFilmComposer Thank you very much for the kind response. I'm really glad you found the video and it helped with what you are doing with your podcast. I have a whole show about podcasting over at The Podcasters Studio dot com which also has more tutorials about podcasting.
I submitted my feed to Zune and iTunes on Monday and i have yet to receive an email confirming it was received as of 4 days later. I was under the impression that once you submitted a feed, you received an email stating they received it for approval. I know the feed is good because Feed Validator says so, and I used the "Advanced>Subscribe to podcast" menu in iTunes and my podcast appeared with the episodes.
@Scruss itunes can take awhile however you probably should have received a confirmation email. But give it a couple weeks before doing anything with itunes. Link me to the feed (url) that you submitted so I can take a look.
As for Zune, it can take a really, really long time however I know a secret;) Email Rob@zune.net and ask him to put your show in the Zune store. Provide him with your valid feed (Zune won't accept if it has any errors, its very picky) and he will see that your show gets in.
Your guide was a HUGE help!!! Thank you so much!

Would I have to repeat the whole process every time I want to upload a new episode of my podcast on my wordpress blog?

How long should I wait before resubmitting?
