  • diesel?

  • @RockolSR20 Nope! L28ET. Kinda sounds like a diesel, but it's just a stupid powerful 2.8L straight 6

  • @drizzetsrevenge It's a joke, but because he did not install the RB26 engine? you have 100% discount after Level 5

  • @drizzetsrevenge Actually, the 240z had the 2.4L L24 engine. As far as I know, the L28ET was only available in the 280zx Fairlady.

The S30 featured in the Forza series is a Z432 which came with an S20 engine from the Skyline GT-R.

As for engine swaps, the L28 isn't available in Forza. Only the RB26DETT engine from a Skyline is swappable in Forza 4. The SR20DET engine from the Silvia was in Forza 3, but they took it out this year.

  • @Wang0Phat Yes, you're correct, but after displacement upgrades it's @ 2.8L and with a turbo, the L20A might as well be and L28ET (which is probably what they intended.

I have NO clue why they offered the SR20 as an engine option in Forza 3. Seems like stepping backwards to a 4 cyl from a 6, even with the same stock displacement, was dumb.

Seems like you're well educated in the Datsun world. Keep it up!

  • @drizzetsrevenge They probably offered the SR20DET in Forza 3 because I believe that's a somewhat common engine swap Z owners do to their cars IIRC? From what little I've gathered, it can be a bit cheaper to build a decent SR20DET s30z compared to an RB26DETT s30z but price doesn't really matter in a video game so I don't get the logic either lol.

I sure will keep it up! I love the S30Z.

  • what a pussy
