  • slash is the man. he always fits in

  • what exactly is Slash doing there, and is he unable to play without distortion?

  • I love this one.Great to see Fonzi Thornton doing background vocals!

  • Please remove slash from this video because he ruins it!

  • Nile rodgers owned fuckin Slash by far!!!!!!

    DISCO - FUNK MUSIC RULES!!!!!!

  • Damn, Nile Rodgers is awesome. All about the music, no flash or gimmicks, just talent, love, sweat, and soul. And, of course, funk. great example for any musician.

  • Love Chic; but sorry Slash just doesn't fit

  • he IS real, you guys!

  • Listen to that devine baseline

  • increible el solo que metio slash es un verdadero genio que menos podemos esperar del el

  • I like Slash's solo in LE FREAK, but here has failed spectacularly. Listen to that aweful single notes he plays and listen to the SRV's short solo on the original take. What a master he was. Nile Rodgers has style he knows everything about funk and knows how to play it.

  • @AndrewEnderWiggin agree.

  • great version Eric Benet sing a great soulful version to introduce the tune.

  • ミンナカッコイイ!!

  • Going to see Chic in Dublin next May. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the best gig ever.

  • Dont know what all the babble is about, I thought this was really freakin funky and Slash never disappoints.

  • x tt quelli ke quando lascoltavano venivono i brividi

  • That was the dude that was married to Halley Berry right?

  • Eric Benet, yes

  • Yowsah!

  • Good shit starts around 3:10

  • 1:40

  • fucking hell they sound utter shit propper shit. i mean there gd at what they do but i tell you now they cant pull off this song

  • idk how you say he has no rhythm. he has a very basic style of rhythm, he doesn't really bust it out because hes got the solos. if you listen closely he plays a little off rhythm which is even harder than playing exactly on time, it a unique style that adds personality to the solos.

  • Look at youtube and listen to Eddy Hazel.

He plays hard, does the solos and has a lot of ryrhym. Then you hear the difference .....

  • The singer girls are SO HOT AND BEAUTIFUL!!!!! :P:P Does anyone know what are their names???

  • The gorgeous red-head is Sylver Logan Sharp and the stunning Jessica Wagner is to her left. Both are members of the band, Nile Rodgers & CHIC as well as very gifted solo artists.

  • @WeAreFamilyFdtn during an amsterdam concert i only watched the bassplayer and jessica oh jessica

  • this track soo badly needs stevie ray....but i love slash..!

  • I think Slash did a great job. Stevie Ray lives on because of awesome tributes like this

  • omg slash's classic top hat not the rubbish top hat!

  • @kerrbam Yeah! I hate the new one!

  • ummm........Slash is actually black and he grew up with the black side of his family.. so yea sorry rumahtigagag

  • Slash over rated? No one says he is the greatest guitar player ever, but he has an excellent guitar tone, and he is a very good player. If you want to talk about over rated, let's talk about Randy Rhoads. A lot of older guitar players speak of him as if he were god himself, when in reality he wasn't all that!

  • I thought Slash was lying when he said he uses his signature model on the road. I guess he was telling the truth.

  • I love when different genres get together and collaborate in some way. Music transcends boundaries.

  • Slash says in his bio that he learned a lot from these guys. he felt like an amateur next to these players. and yes i remember Bowie asking stevie ray to play solo on this track. amazing work. good music is good music no matter the genre. bowie was close friends with slash mum too.

  • This raised my respect for Slash. He does know how to slide in on that style which is far from Guns 's Roses. Sounded great. I thought it would just be GnR inserted in there, but he slides into their scene nicely.

  • this band SUX!!!!

OH shit,Slash need a good rock n roll band!!!

NEW SINGER 4 VELVET REVOLVER SOON!!!

  • I love Slash but you've got no respect for anybody else. This is an amazing peice of music.

  • perhaps,but isn't a good band for Slash.

I wish Slash's Snakepit come back

  • you have no taste. a white guitar player like slash has to be thankfull that he has the uppertunity to play with the brotha! Rockmusic sucks because it has no rithim. So he can learn something...

  • Slash is half black ,

And slash has no rythym ?

Have you seen him work that guitar ?!

    puh-leaseee .

  • yes, he has no rythym. If had rythem he would never play into a simple rockband. That's obvious. He is just a good guitarplayer for a rockband. Nothing more nothing less.

  • Yea that must be why Michael Jackson wanted to work with him. Oh wait he doesn't have rhythm either. Don't forget Ray Charles, JAMES BROWN, JERRY LEE LEWIS, LES PAUL. None of those guys must have rhythm either. Fucking idiot.

  • I agree with you. THEY HAVE RYTHYM. That's why Slash want to play with them. To learn about THE ONE! So he offers himself to them. Not the other way around. Ha have to make a appointment with MIKE HAMPTON from PFUNK/FUNKEDELLIC. Than he see en hear how to play funky rock with a guitar. Than he feels a amateur For sure you don't know him because you are an average music listener. And why are you using bad words against me. Because you don't agree? No dignity!

  • Are you joking? Michael Jackson WANTED Slash on his tour AND his record. You don't ask someone to play on their record, that wouldn't go over too well. All those guys asked Slash to play on their record look it up if you have a hard time accepting facts don't reply with some garbled mess.

  • I don't even know why im arguing about this with you. His so called " having no rhythm" put him as one of the best rock n roll guitarists alive, so who's some scrub on youtube to ramble on about why he's no good. Get a life or find someone new to bash, we don't want your scrub ass here.

  • You can't fucking be successful in music without having rhythm. It would be impossible.

  • Offcourse freaky. Your intrepretation of Rythym is headbanging.....and your favorite guitarplayer plays funky on his guitar...Discussion closed.

  • Sorry dude, you're wrong. Jackson rang Slash personally to ask him to play on the album, just as he did with Eddie Van Halen. On a side note, I can't think of any musician at that level who doesn't have rhythm.

  • and freaky change your nickname because you are far from freaky! And get yoyrself a new life. Bad taste man. Bad taste.

  • slash, slash, slash. wow.....awesome guitar player, living legend.

singer sounded alrite too. not a bad song . just different from what i listen too. rock n roll.

  • if it wasent for stevie this whole deal with "lets dance" would be nothing. great song though. srv is the man

  • @zachsrv6766: Nonsense. Stevie Ray said (I have the interview) that when they were recording this song he sat there and waited for the solo and simply improvised an Albert King solo. This song is all Nile Rodgers, buddy. Just reading the comments here between Slash this and Stevie Ray that, is a perfect, shining example of how ignorant and buffoonish rock fans are. Go back to your immature, juvenile rock videos and yell all you want at each other, just leave us funk people alone. GO AWAY!!

  • peace

  • Its very good. Slash can play differents music style. Its a very good guitarist player, a good musician !
