i honestly like both i dont see why either one is better than the other. Both are well written and have their own mood. There are so many differences between them its like they are two separate beings and i love it. Like twins the two versions may have come from the same DNA but with different personalities. personally as i see this song.. she's talking to her self [old self] and a boy who was [is] her friend..

i guess she had glasses, braces, wore a dirty dress, and big hair..

the first time i ever heard this song was when they opened for brand new in 2003 or 2004. im so glad to see someone actually have this video on here! its so funny, everyone ive ever met thats "sooooooooooo in love with eisley" has "never even heard it"! the original version of this song completely dominates the up-beat version.

This song is so awesome. this is the way better version. I know what its like to be hurt in the sense like the song. I read somewhere that the reason why they changed it was because of the "Dear Matthew.." part. They wrote this song for someone they knew who died -- i can't remember if he committed suicide or if he was murdered for being different. His name was Matthew. The family had asked that Eisley refrain from using it in their song. That's what i've read; i don't know how much of it is true.
